Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden.
What the CIA did :
They trained and funded Saddam Hussein to overthrow the lawful Iraqi government.
They gave money and WMDs to Saddam during the Iraq/Iran war.
They trained and funded Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda during the Afghan/Soviet war.
What the US Government did :
Saddam asked permission to invade Kuwait.
US Government did not object.
The words used were "We have no opinion".
What the US military did :
They established bases in Saudi Arabia in an operation to liberate Kuwait.
Muslims worldwide were unhappy about this because Mecca is the birthplace of Muhammad.
What Osama bin Laden did :
He pulls his CIA training manuals of his bookshelf.
Al Qaeda then puts into practice the CIA training manuals and attacks American targets.
What the Banks did :
They are unable to trace the mysterious Al Qaeda funding.
They can't prove it originates from inside Saudi Arabia where Osama bin Laden has friends.
And the rest of this tragic saga is history.

The thing about a conspiracy is that you won't know it if it hits you in
the face. That's why it's a conspiracy, a perfect lie. Because we are so
used to the doctrine of proof beyond the shadow of a doubt and we always
give the benefit of the doubt.
Do conspirators do any of that? Getting to the truth? To the bottom of
it all? Or do conspirators cover things up quickly?
If facts are not available, like in trying to prove cosmology, for example,
one only needs to look at the valitiy of the theories (using logic). One
theory goes that, there is no benefit to destroy the world in order to reclaim
one's homeland. Another theory says, let the Infidels go to hell all on
their own - why bother, they're doing a good job at it. "Give them the rope
and they'll hang themselves". Yet another theory that the Mafia has long
applied (and still works) is that in order to sell "protection", you must
first create the "terror".
The modus operandi never change. It's still the same old scam.

Yes there are hundreds for sure. But, in this NG
the one that stands out the most and gets bent
the ***** out of shape the easiest is Grantland.
