Nostradamus wrote that in "1999 and the seventh month" from the sky comes
the great king of Terror (future tense). Nostradamus then continued: "before
and after war to be waged by good luck". And so it was established that this
feared king of terror was on its way, beginning a journey that (as the
passing of time would show) would continue for many years after 1999. On the
seventh month of July 1999, the U.S. and Russia did set up a joint operation
at NORAD to ensure that the expected "millennium computer bug" did not
accidentally trigger a nuclear exchange between these two powers. This
fulfilled the specific prophecy that "before and after war was to be waged
by good luck".
Shortly after the new millennium, this joint task force was disbanded, good
fortune again returning to the equation of.... "luckily" there would be no
"accidental" nuclear exchanges. This "good luck" that Nostradamus spoke of
was quite an accomplishment - remembering the Cuban missle crisis and the
extended Cold War.
Nostradamus would then take advantage of many implied dates to remind us
that this "King of Terror" still was on its way (future tense). He did this
by identifying some celestial events and including many instances of "future
tense" trickery, by warning together with an astrological occurrance, that
this event "will happen", (again future tense). By identifying events such
as the Asian Tsunami, Katrina, together with the December 2004 visiblity of
the five planets in the morning sky (astrologers stay far away), many
familiar with Nostradamus suspect that the events described in both the
Bible and Nostradamus are finally upon us, and so they might be.
By compiling the many dates that include a "future tense" description of
"flooding and darkness" into one section, and then compiling other quatrains
that descrbe these same events, but in "present" or "past tense", a system
evolves.
Just look up in the prophecies of Nostradamus - the quatrains which include:
December, Nolle (Noel), the tenth, Olympic Faesulae, Sagittarius
(Nov.22-Dec.21) and Capricorn (Dec.22-Jan.19). The Gothic "tenth" is the
Roman tenth month of "December". "Hundred, hand" could be a way to signify
"twenty". A hand was considered "five" in ancient times. 100 divided by a
hand equals 20.
The "Sun twentieth of Taurus" seems to have been fulfilled last month.
Sunday (Sun.)the twentieth of November 2005 began at 12:01 (midnight) with
the night meridian exactly in the center of the constellation Taurus.
Nostradamus also took advantage of our confusion by describing a "very great
trembling in May". Many did express nervousness, including myself,
particularly with the universal misunderstanding of May 10th, which everyone
seemed to believe was the "twentieth of Taurus".
With the Asian Tsunami of 2004 a countdown in (future tense) was continued,
by month, that would include the astrological signs and astronomical
planets. These prophecies would take us from Aries and Taurus to Virgo - and
then to the Hebrew Seventh month which began on October 4th. Then we are
warned "After Libra", again in future tense. Then in Scorpio two evil forces
conjoin, and we assume that the events mentioned are included in Scorpio.
But they can, and do follow the end of Scorpio. The following sign of
Sagittarius includes "a great water will freeze when people assemble for
Thanksgiving" (again future tense).
This brings us to Sagittarius and Capricorn where "future tense" soon
dissappears. "The scythe and the pond joined to Sagittarius", "Sun,
Sagittarius and Capricorn all reduced", "Saturn in Sagittarius changing the
"fish" to Mars", "Mercury in Sagittarius, Saturn to fade". C8,Q48 and 49
discuss the troubles of February and include "Verbiesque" (a Biblical soup)
and a Barbarian chief dying at the Ponteroso (red bridge)...possibly the
Hellesponte in Turkey.
Discussing December, Nostradamus discards any pretense to "future tense" by
writing in C9,Q37:
Bridge and mills overturned in December,
The Garonne will rise to a very high place:
Walls, edifices, Toulouse overturned,
So that none will know her place like a matron.
The winter Olympics in northern Italy, near Faesulae, are supposed to begin
in February 2006. Newspapers already carry accounts of "Olympic Turin".
Nostradamus, does not include in his accounts and prophecies, a "future
tense" - when discussing "Olympic Faesulae", as seen below.
C8,Q16
At the place where Jason had his ship built,
There will be a flood so great and so sudden
That one will have no place or land to fall upon,
The waves to mount Olympic Faesulae (Italy).
When exactly is northern Italy no longer Olympic?

One of the first thing one notices, is the focus on the Buzz word Terror,
this is actually incorrect, though the Quatrain is known as the KoT
Quatrain, but the actual word is Debt payer, a deed which will probably be
Known as the " King Hit" as it relates to the 3rd World Debt, of course they
will say no one predicted this being somewhat advanced from the date 1999.
But one should really ask what is the rhyme about?
It reads best as a Thumbnail / profile of a mans life in power who came from
the skies in 1999.
Strange that this actually happened, and stranger still will be the branding
of this man as Antichrist.
For the folk who like to start with an objective look at just what is being
proposed:
CVIIIQ 16. This quatrain is most puzzling with respect to its locale.
Fesulan can only come from Fesulae (Fiesole) in central Italy. Jason, of the
Golden Fleece myth, obviously had nothing to do with Italy.
Olympique must refer to ,Mount Olympus in Thessaly. Of course it may be that
the flood, which first strikes Volo, will involve a general rise in sea
level extending to Italy as well, but the mention of such limited and small
localities seems to preclude this fantastic interpretation. Fiesole is 970
feet above sea level, Olympus is 9,570 feet. if, by the other variant, St.
Jerome (Eusebius Sophronius Hieronymus) is chosen, we have no place name
connected with his life that fits well. He lived at Aquileia, Treves,
Alexandria, Rome, Antioch and Bethlehem (where he built a monastery and
died). Furthermore, building a ship has no particular meaning for St.
Jerome's life, so the Jason reading is probably correct.
If we decide that the flood is purely for Thessaly in Greece, we find that
Mount Olympus is about sixty miles northwest of ancient lolcus. Pharsalus is
about forty miles -west of Iolcus, but it is on a famous plain, and could
hardly be called "Olympic." The only solution would seem to be the heretical
one that Nostradamus was mixed up somewhere on his geography or mythology.
Hope that helps.

It's this kind of nonsense that destroys the credibility of anyone
approaching the subject of Nostradamus and his quatrians. The need for
some to pick out the most dramatic quatrain and apply it to events not
in any way related to it suggests that the author is desperate for
attention. I'm surprised he didn't apply the "King of Terror" quatrian
(which very well may be a mistranslation btw) to the Eagles and T.O.
along with the Tsunami and Hurricane Katrina. I'm sure
he will apply it to anything else the press considers newsworthy and
disasterous regardless of the weakness of the connection.
Also, I'm not familiar with the original French, but
at least one translation of that C8, Q16 reads
The waves mount TO Faesulae---not the waves
"to mount." Notice how such a small detail can
change the entire meaning of the quatrain.
Further, I'm not sure how you are getting present
tense from "will be a flood" and "will have no place," but that seems
like a future tense to me.
Again, I'm not certain of the original French, but I would be much more
inclined to believe a serious scholar and linguist like Peter L. than a
sensationalistic bungler like the above poster.
