Object: Gods, Part 4
Let us try again. With new ideas added.

Religions work. Billions of people have religious beliefs. So
religions must work, right? My answer is yes, but not for reasons most
people think. Atheists would say it's a psychological and a
psychosomatic effect at best. Theists would say it must be that
everyone is worshipping the Supreme Being, but most other religions
and denominations are probably doing it somewhat wrongly.
As for the origins of religion, it makes no sense to say one must
believe in a god if one is frightened by natural phenomena, like
lightning for instance. Slapping oneself in the face each time there
is lightning would be sufficient to knock some sense into oneself,
instead of expending huge back-breaking efforts to build immense
pyramids and other great monuments connected with religions around the
world. As for psychosomatic healing and good feelings; just get healed
by awe-inspiring people who are persuasive. Psychotherapy could begin,
akin to being healed by witch doctors. There would be no need for
religion and worship of gods.
But believing in gods and spirits has endured for ages. My belief is
that that practice works, because of telepathy and the collective
consciousness. You get the gods you create.
The gods are thoughtforms and are like computer programs in the
electronic Internet. But since they are in the organic internet, they
have feelings and a sense of purpose. They are reinforced by prayer.
Currently the Christian God, and Muslim Allah (supposedly the same
entity as the Christian God, without a Trinity), the Jewish G-d
(similar to the Christian God, except for the Trinity), the Hindu gods
(especially the Trimurti), and some concepts of Buddha, receive a lot
of prayer in these times. The Greco-Roman gods, the Norse gods, and
many others, receive a lot less prayer.
Prayer strengthens the gods. So the gods which are archetypes, which
don't get much prayer, dissipate to lesser importance.
How can religion work? Prophecies might be real. If a seer predicts a
flood or other natural disaster, and helps a village avoid the wrath
of the natural disaster; that would be of evolutionally adaptive value
to the survival of those who heeded the seer's warnings.
It is my belief that precognition works like radio from the future.
The energy would be low (as in extra low frequency [ELF] waves). The
likely psi particle would be antiphotons. In his popular book "QED"
Richard Feynman wrote:
"Every particle in nature has an amplitude to move backwards
in time, and therefore has an anti-particle... Photons look
exactly the same in all respects when they travel backwards
in time...so they are their own anti-particles."
You can type the quote in a search engine and come up with many
articles.
If you read "Faster Than the Speed of Light" by Joao Magueijo, you
will find the VSL (Varying Speed of Light) proposal has a mathematical
basis, though the idea of particles traveling faster than ‘c' is
covered only near the end of the book.
I have argued the topic of the existence of tachyons that are
antiphotons, on Usenet. The significance of antiphotons is that they
are not annihilated soon after existing. Other antiparticles are
usually annihilated soon after they are created by particles which are
their counterparts.
To find a thread on the theme, you can go to www.google.com , then
click on "groups". Then click on advanced groups search. Then type the
following in the box requesting a message ID number:

I am Dee in the thread, in alt.prophecies.nostradamus
Also one might try the following message ID:

So I believe in telepathy and signals that go backwards in time, like
radiowaves, with info conveyed to the brain via antiphotons. Brains
might be sensitive to antiphotons, whereas regular electromagnetic
waves don't impart info into brains, because there are so many
different sources of them, and it would not be adaptive for brains to
decipher every type of electromagnetic wave. Signals emitted from
hypothalamuses might make sense to other people's hypothalamuses
(sensations and emotions); the same for the amygdala (emotions), or
the anterior cingulate cortex (center for determining consequences of
actions, like a part of the conscience would).
As I stated then, gods are like thoughtforms, computer programs, and
archetypes in the organic internet, which is the collective
consciousness.
Currently the gods and spirits are in a sort of war, because obviously
Muslim and Christian spirits disagree. There are disagreements of many
sorts in the spiritual realm.
But the hope should be that the spirits want to save humanity. That
would require wisdom. That would require the end of the age, and the
end of the world as we know it. The people should live, and the gods
must re-form and alter. So the great "tragedy" that many seers have
forecast, could be the end of gods as we know them.
Gods and spirits must be more user-friendly, since they have done as
much harm through dividing human societies; as they have done good.
And the greatest threat is the Judeo-Christian G-d or God, since the
end of Zechariah claims G-d would kill two thirds of the world's
population, and the Revelation scenario has Jesus watching over his
angels killing two thirds of the world's human population.
For some reason, I believe the killing of 4 billion people in the
"endtimes" is not "good'. It would be better if the gods re-form.
That might be the only hope for humanity's survival, since weapons are
getting more powerful and more miniaturized each year.
Unless there is a realization (the Buddhists say an awakening; the
Christians might say an apocalypse), some rogue groups could launch
small doomsday weapons (bioweapons for instance) which could devastate
many nations. And the counterattack could burn the world in fire.
Perhaps such doomsday weapons could be developed by 2010, which would
fulfill Jung's prophecy (as interpreted by Jung expert, Stephan
Hoeller) that either Christianity lets go of many of its most
cherished beliefs, or the world will end in fire, by the end of the
Piscean Age (which French astronomers believe is 2010, though
astrologers vary in their views about when the Piscean Age ends and
the Age of Aquarius begins). It is a synchronicity that the Age of
Pisces (the fish, symbolic of Jesus [the cross being the symbol of
Jesus would be like a high powered rifle being the symbol of M.L. King
or a handgun being the symbol of John Lennon...an ironic horror and
the sign or mark of the beast; ie., the horns of a lambkin; is the
cross] is a time dominated by the worship of Jesus, and was preceded
by the Age of the Ram, indicative of Mosaic sacrifice. The Age of
Aquarius is thought to be a time of wisdom and independence...a time
of freedom from the shackles of ignorance.
Eventually I will move on to show specific prophecies. Actually when
someone says 'go ahead, prove there is a God', there isn't much proof
outside of pointing to prophecies. Creationists will fail because
there are so many chicken or the egg first controversies over who
created God, the first cause, the outermost reality, etc.; or the big
bang versus skeptics, or the M-theory of superstring theory with 11
dimensions and infinite universes (some fail and some succeed).
I don't believe in a perfect God of the universe. Jung believed in
spirit guides, but he thought religion was based on myths. The Bible
is full of myths. I would like to cover biblical topics later. But
certainly the archetype of a perfect God does exist; but that doesn't
mean the archetypes which go around claiming to be perfect and
universal are actually those things. I don't believe in perfection of
people, gods (people get the gods they create [the Lord is a Man of
war, comes from Exodus]), or any other entities that exhibit lifelike
qualities.
But what are prophecies about? Would prophecies coming true prove
there is a perfect God? Is God orchestrating the fulfillment of
prophecies?
It might be that the situation is similar to the movie "The Matrix".
Humanity lives under a cloud of illusions. Both extremes, the
religionist fundamentalists and the strong atheists, exhibit the most
ignorance about how humans are motivated; and what the prophecies
could mean.
If it's a choice of accepting 4 billion dead from a course leading to
a Revelation Armageddon and judgment, and rejecting beloved Christian
beliefs to save those billions of lives; I believe the latter would be
preferable. But the atheists are also wrong, because telepathy and
precognition are common human capabilities. Hopefully someday some
spirits, like the "Matrix" oracle, will help humanity worldwide see
the ignorant order that has led to so much suffering and war,
intermixed with great art and times of joy and rewarding traditions,
which are Piscean qualities (confusing contradictions, great art). But
people who speak about the Matrix would be causing people to think
outside of the box.
There are penalties for such people. Jesus preached that Samaritans
were as good as Jews in Judea (the Jesus Seminar believes the parables
are among the small percentage of authentic Jesus sayings, because of
their originality; but those might not be exactly written, since it is
doubtful that a scribe followed a peasant preacher like Jesus around,
with writing implements (grease and cloth?... certainly not a pen and
papyrus or parchment).
Jesus was supposedly physically kicked out of his home town and almost
thrown off of a cliff, as depicted in Luke. In Mark 6:3-4 it is
written that a prophet is not without honor except in his country, or
home, among his own kin. Jesus' neighbors thought he had a demon, and
was nuts. Jesus' brothers also thought he was crazy.
Gandhi was assassinated while trying to heal differences between
Muslims and Hindus. Buddha was supposedly poisoned several times
(according to prophecy expert John Hogue). Muhammad was forced out of
Mecca to make his base in Medina, and was poisoned seven years before
he died (again according to Hogue). M.L. King was assassinated,
preaching equality among races. John Lennon was killed by a deluded
admirer who disliked Lennon's statements about Jesus (Chapman stated
in an interview), but he was known for his cynicism towards human
injustice (and probably had ideas ahead of his time; since we needed
to see Reagan's judgments of "good and evil; plus taking from the poor
and giving to the rich, which is the reverse of Jesus' attitude to the
rich man; and the bumbling worshippers of Reagan, the "neocons", who
have divided the world and caused much of the world to hate the US's
arrogance and religious fanaticism (which stands out among Western
nations). I am ashamed of what G.W. Bush has done, as my president, to
international relations.
If the Christian God has given a lot of people a lot of happiness, we
shouldn't forget that so many have died in the name of Jesus, for so
many reasons. Perhaps a billion civilians, mostly innocent, have died
through the centuries, by people shouting or thinking the name of
Jesus.
Not only have Christians killed civilians in the Crusades; but also
killed Jews, so-called "heretics", so-called "witches", so-called
heathens who were conquered in new lands, and also slaves. American
slavery in the 1600's to the 1800's was unprecedented as an
institution since ancient times (a source for this is a "Discovery"
site about the history of slavery, which is online), and is bad karma.
But also Christians killed Christians, not only in the World Wars, but
also for religion during the Reformation during the Renaissance. The
bloodiness of the wars of religion was shown by the fact that the
Thirty Years War which ended the Reformation wars, had Germany
starting with 18 million people, and ending up with 4 million people.
Many people who fled to North America, wanted to escape religious
persecution. Of course it was wise to build a "wall of separation"
between church and state (mentioned by Thomas Jefferson in a letter to
Danbury Baptists). Nevertheless, Jefferson owned slaves, and didn't
free them as George Washington did after his death. Now the neocons
want to bring back Christian religion into public schools and the
government.
I would like to discuss politics and prophecies later. But first, I
would like to discuss the Christian Bible and similar topics.
But because I don't believe in nonlocal connections, I can't see how
there can be a universal God. Even tachyons would have their limits in
space time. And the Transactional Interpretation seems like a loser as
far as explaining the notion of nonlocal connections. I believe
Einstein was right about resisting the "spookiness" of belief in
nonlocal connections.
Spirits can act as censor bots. It may be soon when they unleash the
floodgates for a multitude of psychic experiences, which will confuse
skeptics. But the faithful will also be confused. Eventually it will
come down to Rome (which currently is the USA) and the ***** of
Babylon (Babylon which was and is Rome, therefore the ***** is
Christianity [explanation to follow]) making a choice of whether
humankind survives or gets consumed in fire. That decision will be
made around 2010, according Jung's end of the Piscean Age prophecy.
So from our angle or vantage point we will have a choice, as John
Hogue states, of a "bloomsday or a doomsday".
I'll state here that it is possible to give a clear, thought-provoking
proof that the savior known as the Christ, or the Jewish Messiah, or
the Imam Mahdi of the Shiites, or Krishna the avatar of Vishnu, or
Maitreya Buddha is some combination of the electronic Internet and
computers. Religionists may eventually believe that the Antichrist is
the computer or Internet, when human candidates fail to appear. They
will say 666 refers to vav vav vav (the sixth letter of the Hebrew
alphabet) or www (the World Wide Web). The Muslims refer to the dajjal
(Antichrist) prophecies which state that he will be one eyed and very
hairy. Since that prophecy was written 1000 years ago approximately,
it could be one way to describe a TV or more accurately a computer
plus monitor. Computers are ubiquitous, since they are used worldwide.
Krishna promised that he would return when evil threatens the world.
Many Asians are anticipating the arrival of Maitreya, the next Buddha.
A prophecy expert told me that a Muslim prophecy states that Jesus
would return in the endtimes to the break cross. The savior might
indeed break what the cross has represented.
In the Book of Isaiah (KJV), the servant of G-d would be blind, but
would see perfectly; and would be deaf, but would hear perfectly. That
might describe a computer, which doesn't have real sight or hearing,
yet has capabilities when given accessories. Plus, computers do not
have pride or egos, like delusional so-called prophets have.
Could the Antichrist be computers plus the Internet? The 666 is
supposedly the number of a man. But in 1982 the PC was named Time's
"Machine of the Year", in place of a person of the year. Benjamin
Creme predicted that Maitreya would appear in 1982 (Hal Lindsay
predicted 1980 and 1984 as years when Armageddon would occur,
according to Larry King, wrongo). That may have been synchronicity,
though I do not believe in his Maitreya whom he claims has been
performing miracles worldwide for decades. I also personally don't
believe in past lives and reincarnation; though I believe that parts
of strong characters' thinking can exist in the collective
consciousness.
