I strongly suggest you stop watching FOX news. They're trying with all
of their might to put a positive spin on this invasion (started when
Israel got angry over someone resisting their offensive into illegal
settlements). Israel is starting to realize that a military campaign
into Lebanon will have no positive outcome for Israelis in general.
Even FOX news is saying that the world has a very low opinion of this
offensive (in an attempt to refute the rest of the world, of course).
It looks to the world like Israelis are the bullies here (because they
are), but every Jewish person from the Israeli ambassador to the UN to
Elie Weisel is on there spewing all sorts of anti-Muslim/Syria/Iran
rhetoric. One of their Jewish spokespeople had the nerve to suggest
that Israel has no territorial interests in the region. That was
funny. But the west is starting to wake up to the lies. I can't see
this lasting very long. Israel really has nothing to gain and
everything to lose. They want to maintain the status quo, not shake it
up.
