The real reason for the invasion of Iraq is political. Iraq is a perfect
location to put
military pressure on the surrounding governments. Saudi Arabia has started
to crack down
on terrorist groups inside its borders, it was not doing that before the war
in Iraq.

Isn't alcoholism, along with any sort of physical or physiological disorder
considered to be a very personal thing,
I mean - what one person might deem to be a problem, another might not, thus
there is no real standard for the consideration of such issues.
I knew a woman who believed she was a alcoholic because she could not say no
to a single glass of wine after dinner each night, she had to have that
glass of wine
even though it was only a singular glass, to her it was a problem and she
sort help to correct it.
I'm not going to pretend I understand these issues fully, but there is room
for discussion and evaluation of what could be considered a problem, however
I still believe its a very personal matter.

Yes Tony, Bush has no real interest in giving freedom to Iraq, the Iraqi
"elections" will be closely
controlled by America, and no elected Iraqi government will have any real
say until such a time the US feels it has achieved

Iraq will get an election based on another lie, they will go through the
motions, however the candidates will be carefully scrutinized

Why do you bother arguing with him?

I've been asking myself that very same question for years.
Reasons (in no particular order):
#1. He's said and done * a lot* of inconscionable, unacceptable
things to me for three years.
#2. It's against my nature to sit back and watch someone so
vehemently rude and belligerent towards people (he's awful
to about 98% of the people in this group). And the only reason he's
semi-decent to the other 2% is because he thinks it will benefit him;
he's the type who thrives off of "supporters" .. the only ones who
are decent to him are Jean and Jane. But that's purely political.
#3. Believe it or not I try to help him in a sense.. hoping that a
blue Moon will appear and he'll see what an utter arse he makes
himself out to be. I try never to completely give up on a person,
no matter how unpalatable they are. I try never to see someone
who is a lost cause.. which is quite applatable with
careers I'm persuing; Psychology and Law.
#4. He deserves it! You get back what you put in.

Well he suggested i kill myself by downing a bottle if pills.. then
Ricky was livid and asked to meet him face to face - man to man.
Then Tony shyte his pants and said he was going on vacation! Just a
*little* too coincidental. I don't believe for a second he went on
vacation. At that time (this past summer) he told me he had no
desire to ever leave America and see another country; then very
shortly there after - he said he was off to Aruba. It doesn't take a
Nuerosurgeon to fugure out why he *really* was taking a break from
the group - it held no water; and the timing was impecable! I don't
believe in coincidence.

So you get you to e-mail me I have to start harassing you in every thread
you post on.

Truth be told, Daniel - he tried to pick me up in 2001 - wrote me
under an alias "Sonny" with a Slingshot email address. Now mind you,
he's *married* and he asked me out. I was pretty much positive that
"Sonny" was in fact our resident pig, Tony.. but couldn't be 100%
sure.. *Until!* he slipped up and posted here with the Slingshot
address rather than his normal address - that's when any doubt in my
mind was dismissed - I knew Sonny was Tony with all certainty.
He's never left me alone since I rejected him. If this was a
work-place it would be considered sexual harrassment.

Actually, I *do* personally know a few people here. I've been talking

in person etc.. And some of the others.. well, after years of reading
them on a consistent basis, you do know them in a sense; or at least
you know the person they're prtraying themselves to be.
Also, most people express their true inner self best through writing..
it's even suggested that couples who are having problems in their
relationship write to one-another.

If this is true, Tony is a very very paranoid man, he checks under the bed

I'm not a childcare worker. But I do have meetings with the teenagers
parents about the progress or (lack there of). I can only discuss how
the teens are coming along - and try to build upon strategies and game
plans on how the parents can become proactive in their son/daughters
recovery process once they leave the rehab and are back in a family
setting.

My girlfriend was just investigated, because the oldest boy Tyron told his
father
that I was abusing him (at least this is what the father alleged), of course
I do not hit the children at all

attention from his father; and he may view you as something that could
be keeping his mother and father apart - when in reality, they
wouldn't be together anyway, regardless of whether you're in the

in New Zealand childcare workers can take your children if your deemed to be
unfit parents.

They do it here, too. And it's a double-edged sword, because
sometimes the kids *are* really getting abused/and/or neglected, then
there's cases like yours where the story is false and the workers tend
to err on the side of caution.

Of course. It's actually a *real* disease also, that many aren't
aware of or just dismiss completely as rubbish. But it is a disease,
and it is hereditary often times.. runs in families. That doesn't
mean that every child of an alcoholic will be an alcoholic also,
though. My father is your typical alcoholic 100% Irish man. And only
one of my siblings is also an alcoholic.. I didn't get the gene
(thank God).

Right.. like someone accusing an occasional social drinker to an
alcoholic. There is no comparison. And there's also no question.
If someone is an alcoholic - everyone knows. It's much akin to drug
addiction (well alcohol *is* also a drug) - but what I'm saying is the
alcoholic's life literally revolves around the bottle; it's always on
their mind; they put the alcohol first in many cases even before their
own families. If they have to go to a social funtion where they can't
drink, they're normally miserable and have a hard time having even a
simple conversation.. they can't function in a social setting without
it.
Alcoholics can also become physically dependent just like heroin or
coke addicts. They shake and sweat; become dizzy, irritable.. they
literally have to start the cycle all over again to feel normal. They
have to have a drink.. then the physical reactions will go away.
It's truly a sick disease.

Because there could be an *underlying* problem that isn't alcoholism;
but something entirely different all together. Like anxiety or a
touch of OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder).

Yes it's personal in the beginning, but when it begins to *branch* and
your loved ones are being affected - it's no longer singular, it's
