Thank God that's over!
Due to a cookbook misprint, we enjoyed a delicious Easter dinner of
honey-glazed hamster.
Just now got the kitchen clean and back to normal. The relatives went
back to their homes and both kids have tummy aches.
I spared them even more tummy trouble by removing all the
"butter-flavored popcorn" jellybeans from their baskets. Hey...what they
don't know/have won't hurt 'em, right? ;)
The closest I got to taking holy communion today was biting a chunk off
of one of the kids' chocolate crosses. You've seen those, right? I'm
waiting for them to come out with the hollow solid milk chocolate Jesus.
"He has risen - then he melted in my hand"...LOL! What would you bite
first? The ears just aren't that appealing on Jesus as they are on
bunnies.
Here's a prediction for you.
Big candy sale tomorrow. Half price.
Why should we pay top dollar for Cadbury Creme Eggs?
Hope you all had a good one.

I know. I dread Holidays.

honey-glazed hamster.

Oh! Delicious. Had it about three years ago and it was magnific.

Just now got the kitchen clean and back to normal. The relatives went

I went to my relatives house .. ;) of course I do my part in cleaning
up afterwards - but isn't it nice to just have that preemptive:
"Do you know what time it is <seriously concerned look> ???" .. then:
"Ah *****! I have this or that to do - gotta go.

I spared them even more tummy trouble by removing all the
"butter-flavored popcorn" jellybeans from their baskets. Hey...what they
don't know/have won't hurt 'em, right? ;)

Can't say it could.. less they caught ya! .. ;)

Yeah.. my nieces and nephews candy gets stolen all the time..
I've never ate one though. I'm not a chocolate fan. Not even really
when I was a kid.

I'm
waiting for them to come out with the hollow solid milk chocolate Jesus.
"He has risen - then he melted in my hand"...LOL! What would you bite
first? The ears just aren't that appealing on Jesus as they are on

I wouldn't eat a chocolate Jesus. It would freak me out.
Oh and I always bit the nose (lol) for some reason on the
chocolate bunnies.

Here's a prediction for you.

The'll be lots of hyperactive children then!. (did you ever like
those? Cadbury creme eggs? I really didn't. The mere thought
of them grosses me out.

Hope you all had a good one.

Mine was semi-semi.. good to see my neices and nephews, and the rest
of my family. But to me there's something disturbing about imposed,
or traditional "expected of you" "gatherings" ..then if ya don't go
there's gossip abound.
Don't get me wrong - I love Christmas and Easter. It's the show
that's sometimes put on at occasions like these. "Oh hey uncle
Frank - haven't seen you in a bout five years.. how's it goin;"
Frank: "Oh good, good - how about you?" .. whoever: "Good."
Then that's about the extent of it.
...had some good food though.
Dani
