The other day I tried to vote on the poll you put up for Ricky and it
won't let me vote....it says I already did and I didn't!
I went to my hotmail account (different isp) and the same thing
happened.
Time is running out....what do I do?

Remove the cookie which has been set so that you are a registered voter.
When that cookie has been removed, you can vote again.
If neccessary log off the net and on again so you can get a new IP adress.

I deleted my cookies and I still can't vote.
Am I being punished for trying to vote more than once for Tony being
most likely gay? ;)
Oh well...it's too late. I was going to vote for Ricky to stay but I see
he is moving on.
Too bad it's not the other way around. It would be a lot more pleasant
around here.

Just out of interest...
You could go to the following site to get your current ip address.
http://www.mediacollege.com/internet/utilities/show-ip.shtml
Right now mine is 81.77.171.169
Next time I connect it will be different
So...
Reboot you WebTv box
Revisit the site
Is the ip address the same?
If so then you have a statically allocated ip address and you can forget
about spoofing the poll software.
BTW, if it is static don't tell anyone what it is.

You're using webtv right for internet access??
The only thing it checks is your ip address and for a cookie on your
computer ... I'm not sure how it work for your set up tho ...
Maybe AZ can help here better then I ...

I guess they log the ip address of the voter.
Find a friend.
