Playing the numbers game: Christopher Power.
Christopher Power has a message.
A modern Nostradamus of sorts, Power says he is talking not just to
the 'new agers' but to all of us.
He says numerology has undergone a revolution in the last hundred
years, as human consciousness has itself evolved.
"Numerology's ready to go out into the general public and be really
practical and at the same time really profound."
With a Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology and Geophysics, Power
might be an unlikely proponent of the numbers game. But for the last
30 years he has been specialising in the metaphysical as a personal
growth consultant.
He says that up until about a hundred years ago astrologists and
numerologists were known for their ability to predict the future.
"People who were able to read another person's subconscious or
unconscious mind would read the patterns that were there and then were
able to predict the future because people wouldn't change those
patterns. A hundred years ago you could see a war coming because of
the patterns between cultures. People could see World War I coming,
people could see Hitler unfolding in World War II. But because of the
basic patterns there, people weren't able to consciously change it."
Enter the new numerlogy.
Power has developed a new kind of numerology, one that takes into
account people's ability to change their behaviour.
"Over the last 20 years we've gone very close to a World War III and
consciously at various stages we've chosen to make that not happen. In
other words we broke a pattern of self destruction that comes from the
past."
Power's system is based on the notion that this kind of process also
occurs in people's individual lives.
"We have an ability to act but we also have an ability to attract
which isn't obvious. Every person creates their own reality partly by
what they do but also by what they allow into their life. The key is
to have both of them working together effectively."
"These days we are creating our future by conscious deliberate
choice."

Numerology is STILL clearly pseudo-science,
and there are NO indications that mankind as a whole
has advanced even a little in the last hundred years.
And if/when mankind evolves/advances,
numerology will be even MORE disrespected
than it is already.
