WSJ: Scholar Warns Iran's Ahmadinejad May Have 'Cataclysmic Events' In Mind
For August 22
Tue Aug 08 2006 10:22:35 ET
In a WALL STREET JOURNAL op-ed Tuesday, Princeton's Bernard Lewis writes:
"There is a radical difference between the Islamic Republic of Iran and
other governments with nuclear weapons. This difference is expressed in what
can only be described as the apocalyptic worldview of Iran's present
rulers."
"In Islam as in Judaism and Christianity, there are certain beliefs
concerning the cosmic struggle at the end of time -- Gog and Magog,
anti-Christ, Armageddon, and for Shiite Muslims, the long awaited return of
the Hidden Imam, ending in the final victory of the forces of good over
evil, however these may be defined."
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad "and his followers clearly believe that this
time is now, and that the terminal struggle has already begun and is indeed
well advanced. It may even have a date, indicated by several references by
the Iranian president to giving his final answer to the US about nuclear
development by Aug. 22," which this year corresponds "to the 27th day of the
month of Rajab of the year 1427. This, by tradition, is the night when many
Muslims commemorate the night flight of the prophet Muhammad on the winged
horse Buraq, first to 'the farthest mosque,' usually identified with
Jerusalem, and then to heaven and back (c.f., Koran XVII.1).
"This might well be deemed an appropriate date for the apocalyptic ending of
Israel and if necessary of the world. It is far from certain that Mr.
Ahmadinejad plans any such cataclysmic events precisely for Aug. 22. But it
would be wise to bear the possibility in mind."

I am guessing a "Late Season" Asteroid will do a "Near Earth"
descention - that will push the Common Market into PANIC MODE .
Just A Thought. (this is a 60/40 possibility).

Don't know for sure, John.....
I will certainly Google that date & look into it, though !!!!
You're probably well aware by now that I monitor a lot of
news & prophecy websites, discussion boards, etc, etc, ad infinitum ad
nauseam --
I've seen numerous dates for 'prophecies' & 'predictions' pass without
anything coming
to fruition.....
One things for sure, though, & that iz something very ominous &
HUMUNGOUSLY **BIG** iz coming this Spring (September 2006 -- November
2006) -- which iz Autumn
up in your neck of the woods !!!!
They say things happen in 3's -- well I have had many a lucid prophetic
dream over the last six or so months about three **EXTREMELY** large
catastrophic events happen *almost* simultaneously (within half an hour
of one another) in the Northern Hemisphere; the Middle East, Europe & N
America.
Each of these events appear to be much larger than anything that
happened five years ago way back in the year 2001......
Yesterday, on the radio, I heard an Iraqi man describe the situation in
war-torn Iraq, which pretty much sums up the state of the world
tomorrow;
"yesterday was better than today but tomorrow will be worse than today"
HOOROO

PS -- Nothing out of the ordinary happened on the 8th August -- so
hopefully
that scholar dude iz wrong about the 22nd !!!!

PS...John -- According to the following Nosty website:
http://ww-iii.tripod.com/timing.htm
the timing for WW3 according to Islamic prophecy for 2006 iz
22 September - 22 October, 2006, which iz probably more in line
given current geopolitical trends....We will even see a short lull in
fighting in
the present Israeli-Lebanon conflict.....

Wow! Those of us on APN brought up this possibility about a month ago.
(I did have the date wrong as I thought Iran's answer was coming on the
20th...faulty memory) Nothing prophetic, just looking at the current
state of affairs. Glen Beck talked about this on his radio program on
August 9th. A lot of people are getting a little jumpy about the
"symbolism" of Iran's rhetoric and the date August 22nd. Might be a
good idea to do a little "pre-emptive" action on this one. Interesting
times indeed.

GB 's prophecy (although taken from a Professor in Wisconsin ???) was
Islamically correct.
The same mathematics was used when I posted here about only 21 captured
(after the British Air Terminal Scare), that there should be 24.
Astrological (and Astronomical [numeric]) prophecies mean as much to
the Jihadists, as they do to Christians and Pagans.
English (British) Pagans (and American Christians) fear and loath the
numbers 5, 7, 9 and 13.
The Islamic Religion follows a similar (but different) number system
[that is more in-sync with the Harmonics of the Earth] of ...
Oooppps, Did I say too much here ???

No man knows the date or time, nor the Son, but only the Father, and He's not
talking. ( At least there's someone in the universe who can keep a secret...)
More likely, 22 Aug 06 will be the day that the Israelis turn Tehran into
subatomic particles drifting down from the stratosphere.
