Police Blotter: Hispanic Man Asked If He Was "A Mexican," Is Assaulted

An Hispanic man said two young black males began to beat him up after
asking him if he was "a Mexican."
Hector Santiago said he was pumping gas at 2727 Rossville Blvd. when
the two men came up.
He said he was asked, "Are you a Mexican?" He said they began hitting
him before he could answer. He covered up to protect himself and had no
visible injuries.
The suspects fled in a brown Buick after they were told the police had
been called. Both had on red shirts and blue jeans. They appeared to be
between 18-21 years old.

What were they hitting him with, nerf bats?
Seriously, he should have had *some* kind of bruises, at least on his
arms, if he was being "beat up" by 2 people.
