Hehe. Yeah, I think we should make-up. But I don't feel I "abused"
you, Doc. I was genuinely shocked when you started saying negative
things about me so I reacted (over-reacted) too quick outta hurt when
I should've sat back, cooled off a bit before replying and replied in
a much, much different manner. I felt betrayed.

You weren't betrayed in the usual sense, Dani. I attempted to explain my
irrational behaviour in a post some weeks ago, but apparently you never
read
it. In it, I explained that I have occasional trouble controlling my
impulses to hurt people unnecessarily. Some people deserve to be hurt when
they hurt me. That's the method I think most of us resort to in such
reciprocal-hate situations. However, with you, you hadn't attacked me. I
did, though, interpret or misinterpret your lack of response to my posts
as
disapproval, or dislike, of something I said. 'The suspicions spiraled out
of control and I took a verbal baseball bat to ya, and started clobbering
you on the head (imagine a Loony Tune cartoon of Yosemite Sam getting
hammered into the ground by Bugs).

And one other thing before we make-up - I am a Counselor in my
professional life. When I come here, I am *not* working. I want to
relax, be silly, laugh - have a good time here.. the last thing I want
to do is work. You guys here are not my patients. I let loose here
and (obviously) wouldn't say the things I say to posters here that
I say to my patients. Imagine if everyone had to continue working
when they come here to post? I'm not going to change my posting
style, Doc. Just as I'd never expect you to change yours.

have severe bouts of depression and that never stopped you from
putting me down and giving me a hard time.

Well, obviously, none of us who suffer from depression or other mental
illnesses escape the 'abuse' from folks who either aren't always
empathetic
around the clock, or have no idea how it is to suffer from such maladies.
In
this case, my attacks on you was the result of the former, and certainly
not
the latter. I think it's nigh impossible to be 'sensitive' and 'socially
correct' 24/7, since human beings are a mass of anxieties and mental
stresses, and the complexity thereof can occasionally produce
'perturbations' in our behaviour -- not rational or even the usual, but
radically different momentarily. I see the human mind as fundamentally
unstable in many ways, affected by their social environments, and any of
us,
at any time, can find ourselves behaving unlike we 'usually' do or what is
expected of us.
In any case, we have the option of apologizing or explaining our
behaviour,
asking for forgiveness or understanding. Only if we continue this unusual
behaviour, does it, in my opinion, become a real problem.

But if we can look past all that - sure, I'd love to make-up. We got
along great together before and I enjoyed having fun and playing
characters with you
