It's not what you know, it's what you can PROVE in Court. Dig deep,
find real evidence, go to CNN, watch them bury the story under the
building and you in Area 51. Mandatory biometric sampling for ID
satisfies the requirements of prophecy as surely as the highly touted
implant, but no one is going ballistic over that one. Read the Real ID
Act, the Mark is already here. What? No Rupture? What do you mean
'you've got to die for your faith'? That sucks.... NOW you know the
Truth.

More bollocks. It's too early to say who did it. One thing is certain
though, the terrorists will have their faces on numerous security
cameras. All stations, streets and stores in central London are covered
by security cameras so the chances are whoever planted the bomb is right
there on them. Even the busses have cameras so there might even be a
portrait shot or two.
I feel sorry for teh victims, but the Neo(Fascist)Cons

It could have been any number of groups. Middle East terrorists being
the most likely, but it could have been several others.
Of course if you are privy to some special source of information, I
suggest you ring up the incident hotline. This way the police can rubber
stamp "NUT" on your file and move on with their investigation.

As in retreat, almost immediately, from Iraq, as the terrorists'

If what Al Qaeda wanted was far greater surveillance and hamstringing of

Jane
What do you mean "run away"?
As in retreat, almost immediately, from Iraq, as the terrorists'
demanded...thus allowing them a victory.
You seem to imply that the result would have been different but for the
attack which is not the case at all. In fact, having troops in Iraq was
enormously unpopular anyway as were a whole bunch of other things the
encumbent government were doing.
I believe the Spanish are as vigourous now in fighting terrorism as they
were before the attack. Moreso in fact.
A moot point. They still gave Al-Qaeda what they wanted.
Jane
Actually the vote gave what the Spanish people wanted.

Bush gave Al Qaeda more then what it wanted or needed by invading Iraq
on bogus ( or unreliable at best ) intelligence data.
The Spanish leaving or staying in Iraq didn't make the difference of a
drop in the ocean on the current status of Al Qaeda. Bin Laden's still
alive and likely planning the fourth anniversary celebrations of 9-11.

It was a symbolic victory for them, however. I'll post Rosie DiManno's
article from today's Star. I am not the only one who feels the Spaniards
caved.

"Feeling" the Spaniards "caved" because you didn't agree with them
doesn't make it so. They were already well on the road to pulling out
of the Iraq debacle before the bombings - indeed, the fact that they
stayed their course indicates that they did NOT cave.

As I am not the only one who feels they did not cave.
Spain is a democracy. They voted in a Gov't that represented the
majority of Spaniards.
Iraq *was* a _mistake_.
Would you be willing to send your son off to Iraq if Canada had signed
on to Bush and Cheney's war???
Would you be willing to look your son in the eyes for possibly the last
time and say goodbye so that he could fix a horrendous mistake of some
idiots making ??

I've stated before here that I was against going into Iraq; however, once it
happened we should have supported our best friend and ally.

So .... would you support your best friend in conducting a robbery or

I can't answer that, as it would depend on why it was perceived to be the
best way to handle a situation.
For example, if she were regularly being beaten to a pulp by her husband and
needed to commit a crime against him in order to escape, I might assist,
even knowing that it was illegal or was something I might ordinarily have no
part of.
I believe there were WND in Iraq which were removed from the
country...probably to Syria. the threat was not imminent, so I do think the
US should have remained in Afghanistan to finish that job. However, once
the decision was made to invade Iraq, Canada should have been more
supportive.
