I amend my previous list of why 2001-2005's tragedies are more than
just a coincidence:
- Worst terrorist attack in Egyptian history;
- Worst terrorist attack in British history since WWII;
- Worst terrorist attack in Indonesian history;
- Worst terrorist attack in Spanish history;
- Worst blackout in American history;
- Most rain ever recorded in a single day in India's history, leaving
over 1,000 dead;
- Most intense hurricane ever recorded
And that's not to mention 9/11, anthrax, tsunamis, earthquakes, wars,
space shuttle disasters, and Katrina.
One can only imagine what 2005-2010 will bring. WWIII? The Big One?

Please explain then why so many people you meet on the street see a
pattern in the recent events of this world, yet you guys don't. Why do
current polls show people thinking we're headed in the wrong direction?
Why do some of the regulars here you respect so much also think the
same, yet I don't see you disagreeing with them. Please pick a stance
and stick to it, so when either one of us are proven wrong we can dig
up the old posts and see who was right all along.
Also, please cite any similar events in a span of four years that comes
close to what 2001-2005 brought, with the exception of WWI and WWII. I
don't think you can. So why is it so preposterous to assume we may be
experiencing the start of WWIII? Many scholars think we are already in
it. Are you a scholar? Where's your credentials? Have you ever even
studied world history? Have you ever even been to college? Or read a
newspaper on a daily basis with unbiased reporting of current events?
Your whole argument is based on "Can't happen," and I'm sure you
would've made the same snide remarks to someone who predicted the WTC
collapsing or New Orleans being submerged. Yet I didn't predict
anything - I simply stated major events in the past four years and was
lambasted as if it hit a sensitive spot for you guys.
However, centuries of prophets, scholars, and government officials
don't side with you. What's amazing is that even after all these events
have begun you still don't see a pattern. Talk about denial.
My argument is based on past world history, current weather patterns,
escalating unrest in the Middle East, increased anti-American sentiment
abroad, and a corrupt presidential administration, along with my own
intuition, which is rarely wrong. Prophecy comes into play, but not as
the main source of information for my argument. It simply backs up what
is being reported in the news every day. Do you have a reason or expert
testimony as to why Global Warming won't continue to escalate, more
hurricanes will strike the US, etc.? I'd love for you to find an
accredited scientist who thinks everything is just kosher.
Even as I type this, another record has just been broken - this is now
the most active hurricane season in recorded history. Yet I'm sure the
pessimists here believe it's just a fluke.
I hope I'm wrong about all this, but I have a helluva lot less to lose
by being wrong than you do.
