text is in rhyming verse and as such, any true translation should also
be in rhyming verse.

Come on now Merl I am not pushing an agenda, being strictly empirical,
any sceptic worth his salt can supposedly take any side to either
defend or debunk, the choice like any debate has at least two sides,
now just because in the case of Mr Nostradamus, the majority of his
supporters are clearly not very bright, this is also clearly the case
in the department of his commentators, a translator is not neccesarily
a commentator ie does not know what it is about and then we have
context another hurdle most falling on the first.
Now I accept Leoni was probably the objective, La Vert the best terms
of word play and translation quite elegant in fact, whereas the PLM
based method you use is clearly sanitised and diluted.
The other method does not hold up on the all 4 lines dept.
Desparation Not so we want to see PAYBACK and some westies doing scat
for a change!!
