As a TRUE Canadian (even though I was born in Quebec) and having heard
of many RANTINGs by Quebec (Canadian ???) Fracaphones during World War
II (and having seen RANTings 'against' every Canadian Military Effort
since then) - I think I have a RIGHT to RANT - HERE.
My father served in this War (also a Quebecer), and even 'dared to'
register for combart - at the age of 16 (one year below the age of
'acceptable' registration).
Just because he was 'fed-up' with hearing so many Quebec francaphones
- around him - saying "This Is Not Our WAR To Fight."
PS: the whole French Resistance was based on a small group of about 2%
to 3% of the whole french populace. - that dared to stand-up against
their 'Occupiers'. [That still makes 97% of the rest of the country -
a group that I would consider 'cowards'.]
