Resume:
NAME: John Kerry
RESIDENCE: 7 mansions, including one in Washington DC, worth Multimillions. I
served in Vietnam (four months.)
EXPERIENCE:
LAW ENFORCEMENT:
In my career as a U.S. Senator, I have voted to cut every law enforcement, CIA,
and Defense bill to ever come before me. I ordered the city of Boston to remove
a fire hydrant in front of my mansion, thereby endangering my neighbors in the
event of fire. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
MILITARY:
I served in Vietnam (four months.) I used three minor injuries to get an early
discharge from the military, and service in Vietnam (as documented by th e
attending doctor). I served in Vietnam (four months).
I then returned to the U.S., joined Jane Fonda in protesting the war, and
insulted returning Vietnam vets, claiming they had committed atrocities, and
were baby killers. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
I threw my medals, ribbons, or something like that away in protest. (Or, did
I?) My book "Vietnam Veterans Against the War: The New Soldier", shows how I
truly feel about the military. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
COLLEGE:
I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. Unlike my counterpart
George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to Harvard,
nor graduate with an M.B.A. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:
After College and Vietnam, I ran for the U.S. Congress and have been there ever
since. I have no real world experience except for marrying very rich women and
running their companies vicariously through them. I served in Vietnam (four
months.)
ACCOMPLISH MENTS:
As a U.S. Senator I set the record for the most liberal voting record ever,
exceeding even Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. I served in Vietnam (four
months.)
I have consistently failed to support our military and CIA by voting against
their budgets, thus gutting our country's ability to defend itself.
Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to admit that
I voted for it. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
I voted for every liberal piece of legislation ever proposed during my career.
I have no plan to help this country, but I intend to raise taxes significantly
if I am el ected. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
RECORDS AND REFERENCES:
None. However, I served in Vietnam (four months.)
PERSONAL:
I practice my Catholic faith whenever cameras are present.
I ride a Serotta Bike.
I love to ski/snowboard.
I call my Gulfstream V Jet the "Flying Squirrel."
I call my $850,000 42-foot Hinckley twin diesel yacht the "Scarmouche."
I am fascinated by rap and hip-hop, and feel it reflects our re al culture.
I own several very large SUVs including one parked at my Nantucket summer
mansion, although I am against large, polluting, inefficient vehicles, and
fully blame George Bush for our energy problems. I served in Vietnam (four
months.)
My wealth so far exceeds that of my counterpart, George Bush, that he will
never catch up. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
I make little or no charitable contributions, and have never agree d to pay any
voluntary excess taxes in Massachusetts, despite family wealth in excess of $
700 million. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
I (we) own 28 manufacturing plants (Heinz) outside of the U.S. in places like
Asia, Mexico and Europe. We can make much more profit from the cheaper cost of
labor in those countries, although I actually blame George Bush for sending all
of those jobs out of our country. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
Although I claim to be in favor of alternative energy sources, Ted Kennedy and
I vehemently oppose any windmills off Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, as it
might spoil our view of the ocean as we cruise on our yachts. I served in
Vietnam (four months.)
My wife's effective tax rate last year was 11%, but I think you should have a
tax increase. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004.
My name is John Kerry and I served in Vietnam for four months. Oh yea, I
approve of this resume.

This is actually a pretty informative post. Curious though, can you
back up the claim of a low C average while studying as an undergrad?
I had researched Kerry back during the primaries--his voting record
in particular on vote-smart.org. If I remember right, I found that he
attended
something in the area of 70 percent of the votes in the Senate
(compared to
Hillary Clinton's 99%). Since then, project vote-smart has
taken off their compilations of Senatorial voting records by
percentages (at least as far as I could tell a few days ago).
I thought he was just about the worst of the possible candidates
with the exception of the personal injury lawyer.
One of the big problems with our 2 party system (imho) is that both
parties tend to produce candidates at the extremes rather than
more sober/less partisan moderates.
The problem is, that even despite his extreme liberal mindset, his
awful Senate attendance, his waffling uncertainty, and the
fact that he's most likely going to have to follow Bush's little
map to the letter anyway, he's still better than the oil companies.
Yet again, our primary system has produced two awful candidates.
Nader would actually be better than either of these two muppets.

That's interesting ... the reference to Nader. Just watching a Canadian
Broadcasting Corp show on Nader and how they're trying to get him to drop
out. He's an interesting character and there's a real sense of sincerity in
his talk. From a Canadian perspective he's much like our NDP ( New
Democrats ) which was the main driving force behind universal healthcare in
Canada.

I don't see any of your above characterizations in Kerry, to tell the truth. I
do see that this has been repeatedly claimed by Bush, but I don't see his voting
record as being extremely liberal, nor waffling. But, as you say, even if that
were the case, such a person would still be preferable to a candidate whose
policies are dictated by corporations.
Yet again, our primary system has produced two awful candidates.

I'm not so sure of that. Nader doesn't seem to be very good at working with
others, in terms of compromising. That's essential in a modern leader.

I find it pretty incredible that someone who was on the campaign trail managed

The numbers I saw were just as the campaign was starting. He wouldnt have
even left DC yet. The other congressional candidates all had significantly
better attendance/voting records (like in the 90's).
The problem is, that even despite his extreme liberal mindset, his
awful Senate attendance, his waffling uncertainty, and the

And that, my dear woodsie, is my problem with people who toe the line with
regards to their political parties. They have incredibly selective vision.
Yet again, our primary system has produced two awful candidates.
Nader would actually be better than either of these two muppets.

Really depends on the situation. Sometimes a leader needs to stand his/her
ground (and by this I am not refering to Bush).

insulted returning Vietnam vets, claiming they had committed atrocities,
and
were baby killers. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
I threw my medals, ribbons, or something like that away in protest. (Or,
did
I?) My book "Vietnam Veterans Against the War: The New Soldier", shows
how I
truly feel about the military. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
COLLEGE:
I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. Unlike my
counterpart
George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to
Harvard,
nor graduate with an M.B.A. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:
After College and Vietnam, I ran for the U.S. Congress and have been
there ever
since. I have no real world experience except for marrying very rich
women and
running their companies vicariously through them. I served in Vietnam
(four
months.)
ACCOMPLISH MENTS:
As a U.S. Senator I set the record for the most liberal voting record
ever,
exceeding even Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. I served in Vietnam
(four
months.)
I have consistently failed to support our military and CIA by voting
against
their budgets, thus gutting our country's ability to defend itself.
Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to
admit that
I voted for it. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
I voted for every liberal piece of legislation ever proposed during my
career.
I have no plan to help this country, but I intend to raise taxes
significantly
if I am el ected.
I am fascinated by rap and hip-hop, and feel it reflects our re al
culture.
I own several very large SUVs including one parked at my Nantucket
summer
mansion, although I am against large, polluting, inefficient vehicles,
and
fully blame George Bush for our energy problems. I served in Vietnam
(four
months.)
My wealth so far exceeds that of my counterpart, George Bush, that he
will
never catch up. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
I make little or no charitable contributions, and have never agree d to
pay any
voluntary excess taxes in Massachusetts, despite family wealth in excess
of $
700 million. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
I (we) own 28 manufacturing plants (Heinz) outside of the U.S. in places
like
Asia, Mexico and Europe. We can make much more profit from the cheaper
cost of
labor in those countries, although I actually blame George Bush for
sending all
of those jobs out of our country. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
Although I claim to be in favor of alternative energy sources, Ted
Kennedy and
I vehemently oppose any windmills off Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard,
as it
might spoil our view of the ocean as we cruise on our yachts. I served
in
Vietnam (four months.)
My wife's effective tax rate last year was 11%, but I think you should
have a
tax increase. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004.
My name is John Kerry and I served in Vietnam for four months. Oh yea, I
approve of this resume.

Lucky guy.
Well they shouldn't have put it there in the first place.
MILITARY:
I served in Vietnam (four months.) I used three minor injuries to get an early
discharge from the military, and service in Vietnam (as documented by th e
attending doctor). I served in Vietnam (four months).
Clever boy!
I then returned to the U.S., joined Jane Fonda in protesting the war, and

You had to be there, I guess.

An anti-war man. I wish we had more of those around.
COLLEGE:
I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. Unlike my counterpart
George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to Harvard,

Doesn't seem like it did his counterpart much good, so why should he
need it?

After College and Vietnam, I ran for the U.S. Congress and have been there ever

How clever!

A senator after my own heart...
I have consistently failed to support our military and CIA by voting against
their budgets, thus gutting our country's ability to defend itself.
Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to admit that
I voted for it. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
Such a large military is obsolete in a post cold-war world...or it at
least should have been. No wonder some idiots need to start wars - to
give their soldiers something to do.
I voted for every liberal piece of legislation ever proposed during my career.
I have no plan to help this country, but I intend to raise taxes significantly
if I am el ected. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
What a guy!

None. However, I served in Vietnam (four months.)
You're hired!

It fascinates me too. How could anyone enjoy that *****? But, I guess
I'm not everybody else.
I own several very large SUVs including one parked at my Nantucket summer
mansion, although I am against large, polluting, inefficient vehicles, and

Perhaps that is why it's parked.
My wealth so far exceeds that of my counterpart, George Bush, that he will
never catch up. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
Bush hasn't finished yet. Soon he'll be rolling in the mulla.
I make little or no charitable contributions, and have never agree d to pay any
voluntary excess taxes in Massachusetts, despite family wealth in excess of $
700 million. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
Bush doesn't strike me as being much of a charity man. I wouldn't
agree to pay voluntary excess taxes. Would you?
I (we) own 28 manufacturing plants (Heinz) outside of the U.S. in places like
Asia, Mexico and Europe. We can make much more profit from the cheaper cost of
labor in those countries, although I actually blame George Bush for sending all
of those jobs out of our country. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
He's probably right.
Although I claim to be in favor of alternative energy sources, Ted Kennedy and
I vehemently oppose any windmills off Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, as it
might spoil our view of the ocean as we cruise on our yachts. I served in
Vietnam (four months.)
But if you're cruising on your yachts, how could windmills possibly
spoil your view of the ocean? Or are you cruising on your yacht
aboard a transport trailer down the highway?
My wife's effective tax rate last year was 11%, but I think you should have a
tax increase. I served in Vietnam (four months.)
Of course. Thats FAR too low.
PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004.
