Always fun to see Dubya getting punked over leaked info instead of
doing the punking.

Marv, did you see the episode where he had Musharraf on as a guest?
Musharraf was completely different from what I expected - a much better
leader than I would have ever given him credit for being. Very logical,
considers all the possibilities before making a decision. It's not at
all what I would expect from someone who overthrew an elected government.

I was impressed by his demeanor (Musharrafs') the first time I saw and heard
him speak after the 9/11 attacks.

He does give the impression of being a survivor in a tough
neighborhood, and of being an intelligent and strong leader,
irregardless of the fact he got there by military coup.

Yes!
I saw it online.
Stewart is great -- offered Musharraf traditional Pakistani tea and an
American delicacy -- a Twinkie. Funny stuff.
Musharraf doesn't really seem to be anyone's ally -- he plays for his
own survival but he also understands his enviroment. He's sharp.
It almost makes one sick thinking that someone this intelligent had to
sit down for dinner with the world's most powerful idiot and listen
take his advice.
Cheers!!

I'm assuming you downloaded it through iTunes. Do you get Comedy Central
there? I haven't found that digitally recorded stuff (Knoppix, an open
source version of tivo) has as good a resolution as the cable feed.

I thought it was hilarious that he couldn't get the tea in a Pakistani
shop in Manhattan, but had to go to Queens to get it. (There is a large
Indian population in Queens, also in Northern New Jersey). I did get that
Musharraf didn't seem to get the show when he first went on, but caught on
really, really quickly.

Yes, I got that, as well.

I'll bet he didn't manage to eat a whole heck of a lot ....

They're Windows Media Player -- I'm not sure if you're on a Linux box.
I have Suse 10.1 on a machine in my workshop but still haven't gotten
it to play Windoze Media.
Cheers!

I can't play Windoze stuff in firefox, but for some reason it will work in
Konqueror (http://konqueror.kde.org/ ).
