Now that we know that it took weeks for Dan 'The Liar' RAthER to admit
that the source of the documents was a complete loony and they ran the
story anyway because no truth mattered and only the outcome of

The elite, liberal media circus will try anything to bring down Bush. This is proof of their lying
and dishonesty. The more the Dems try to hurt Bush the more they help him. Not much different than
his run against Ann Richards. Getting pretty hard to beat that stoopid monkey from Texas. What's
next? An e-mail to the DNC chairman Terry McAuliffe linking him to Rather? Isn't it interesting how
the ad fortunate son was released just as the CBS news story broke. Could it be.......? Naw, never.

CBS should never have had Dan Rather replace Uncle Walter in the first place.
He's too into the spectacle of news. (Isn't he the moron that started the trend
of people standing out in the middle of hurricanes? I'm just waiting for

If you want to find the kookiest newsman you need go no farther than
Geraldo Riviera, the right-wing loon who joined Fox, as he said, to be a
live war correspondent in Afghanistan.
This sensationalistic sucker was quite a sight to behold, with a native
head wrap, crawling along the ground live on TV as he told viewers bullets
were whizzing over his head. Later, a scandal broke out that had him at a
totally different location, well out of harm's way! He at first denied it,
then said he was confused about the location.
Another one of his farces was a long, live televised event to find
"treasure" under a downtown building in Chicago where he thought 1930s
gangsters might have hidden stuff long ago. They dug into it, found a few
old empty whisky bottles, and Geraldo looked like he was shitting
crocodiles.
If we want to list the number of news field reporters and anchorpersons as
stupid or nutty, it'd take months. The whole ugly business is accurately
portrayed in 1987's Broadcast News. Even though it's played for laughs, a
number of veteran news people say it shows how their egotistical,
aggressive, back-stabbing profession is more entertainment than
information. Of course, we already knew that.
