Latham rejects 'wacko Jacko' comparison
A Coalition backbencher says choosing Labor leader Mark Latham as
prime minister would be like putting pop star and alleged paedophile
Michael Jackson in charge of a child-care centre.
The Liberal Member for Hume, Alby Schultz, attacked the Opposition
leader, describing him as the biggest hypocrite in Australia.
Mr Schultz says Mr Latham raises the issue of politicans' standards
but when he was mayor of Liverpool Council, he doubled his own salary.
"People are talking about putting him in charge of the country's
silverware - it's like putting wacko Jacko in charge of a
child-minding centre," Mr Schultz said.
Mr Latham rejects the Jackson comparison and says as Liverpool mayor
he doubled his hours and got rid of the mayoral limousine and driver.
"The previous allowance was for a part-time job," he said. "I went to
a full-time job and worked 60 hours a week for $35,000."
Mr Latham says Mr Schultz's attack is just a poor reflection on the
Government.

Yesterday I made a poached egg in my new "microwave egg poacher"...(not
like the one on TV for $19.99, but the K-Mart Version at
$1.99)..........where was I?
...........Oh yeah, so I made only 1 poached microwave egg and it has a
mold for 2 and when it was ready, I popped the perky bulbous round
shaped egg out onto my plate and I thought my GAWD! ----
It made me think of Janet Jackson's BOOB!
And of course every 10 minutes on any given Tv channel, they have to
make some sort of reference to either Janet's BOOB or Michael's court
case.
