[excerpt] House Democratic leaders were giving their first news
conference of the year when the session in the Cannon building was
hijacked by Cindy Sheehan and other antiwar demonstrators, some wearing
tie-dyed apparel and pins comparing President Bush to Adolf Hitler.
Just after Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) vowed, "We're gonna cut the
interest rate in half for student loans," hecklers began to chant
"De-escalate! Investigate! Troops home now!"
"That is exactly what we're talking about," Emanuel said, trying to
appease the protesters. But the hecklers kept chanting, and he fled.
The Democratic leaders in retreat, Sheehan seized the microphone. "We
put them back in power," she said of the Democrats. Passing out fliers
calling for defunding the Iraq war, Sheehan shouted: "These are our
demands. And they're not requests -- they're demands."
If yesterday was any indication, the 110th Congress will be highly
entertaining, if not terribly productive. So far, it's hard to tell
which will be a larger impediment to Democratic leaders: the McHenrys
or the Sheehans. [end excerpt]

disruptive protest was against the man who started the Iraq war, when
the disruptive protest was ACTUALLY against Rahm Emanuel. Therefore,
you implied the man who started the Iraq war was Rahm Emanuel.

[excerpt] House Democratic leaders were giving their first news
conference of the year when the session in the Cannon building
was
hijacked by Cindy Sheehan and other antiwar demonstrators, some
wearing
tie-dyed apparel and pins comparing President Bush to Adolf
Hitler.
Just after Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) vowed, "We're gonna cut
the
interest rate in half for student loans," hecklers began to
chant
"De-escalate! Investigate! Troops home now!"
"That is exactly what we're talking about," Emanuel said,
trying

fled.
The Democratic leaders in retreat, Sheehan seized the
microphone.
"We
put them back in power," she said of the Democrats. Passing out
fliers
calling for defunding the Iraq war, Sheehan shouted: "These are
our

ROFL !!! Oh my God! A disruptive protest against an unpopular
war,
unnecessary mass death and injury, squandering of public money,
and
the crazy ***** who started it!!
Rahm Emmanuel?

No, it was his press conference that was the the target of the
disruptive protest -- therefore your description of the disruptive

A reply so ridiculously convoluted and puerile in nature

the disruptive protest was ACTUALLY against Rahm Emanuel. Therefore,
you implied the man who started the Iraq war was Rahm Emanuel.
Try to understand the articles you post here, Stevie. Take a look at this
you psychotic little runt --
Just after Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) vowed, "We're gonna cut the
interest rate in half for student loans," hecklers began to chant
"De-escalate! Investigate! Troops home now!"
Now, does that sound like Sheehan's group was there to protest cutting
student loans?? Nope. De-escalate the student loan cuts? LOL!!!
It would've suited Sheehan's purpose to have a stage of any kind to
protest the Iraq War...and this little protest was just one of many
scheduled across the nation against...against...against...the Iraq
War...the Iraq War...The Iraq War, junior jerkoff.
And the next time you start to meltdown and start hitting me for being
old, like you've done several times before, ask yourself why a good ol'
God-lovin' Christian would harbor such animosity toward his elders...Moses
wouldn't have approved.LOL!!
Instead of teething on Jesus' robe, and orally vacuuming out Bush's jism
by the pint, why don't you stick your little snotty head up your rectum
and take a good hard look at all you've been in your life. Each turd
counts for one year...

No, it was his press conference that was the the target of the
disruptive protest -- therefore your description of the disruptive
protest could only refer to Rahm Emanuel's disrupted press conference.
First of all, you little psychotic dumb quasi-Christian kid, the article
you referred to is about Sheehan's protest against the Iraq War.
Second, my remark is referring directly to that article about her protest
against the war.
Third, the components of my sentence that you skewed and convoluted for
your sick enjoyment, and for your self-centered juvenile psychopathology--
all directly concern Sheehan's protest against the war, including, and
especially, the 'crazy *****', George W. Bushbutt, that started 'it.'
'It', unless you're missing some more of your frontal lobe since the Dems
took power, is directly referencing the Iraq War.
Now, Stevie, you poor desperate kid, none of my statement can be construed
by anyone except a moron or a mentally ill person or a mischievous
overgrown kid, as having anything to do with Emmanuel and his press
conference, other than it was disrupted. And I hope there will be more
protests, including the removal of that crazy ***** who started it --
from the White House, along with the rest of the political sewage you've
been consuming for years.
Sheehan, you fully know, fuckhead, *****, shitface, Christian idiot of
all time, was there to exclusively protest the war -- not protest Emmanuel
or his press conference, or protest against herself, or anything else
you'd possibly like to make out of a simple understandable sentence.
I suggest strongly you take a .45 cal. handgun, if you have one, and if
you don't I'd recommend one strongly, drop a hollow point copper jacketed
bullet in the chamber, stick the barrel in your mouth at a 40-degree angle
upward, pull the trigger, and blast yourself off to Hell ... where all bad
smarty-***** puerile Christians should go who are stupidly arrogant and
assininely supportive of mass murder and suck the slimy dicks of psychotic
leaders like Bush. Once you arrive in your fucking Christian Hell, please
tell ol' Beelzebub I sent ya, and when or if I get there, I want to take a
supervisory position over you, forcing you to ***** for an eternity
while I whip your pimply ***** with a fence chain.
And for that reason alone, I sincerely hope there is a Hell. If this reply
is too long for you, stick your head up your ***** (again) and munch on the
massive ego shitload that's been jammed up in there for so long. While
you're munching, I promise that I'll try to condense my reply into
something more elementary for you to cope with.

You're wrong. She was there to protest Emanuel because he and Hoyer
were going to talk about the immediate Democratic agenda, which does
not include an *immediate* withdrawal of our troops from Iraq.

That's from the article I posted previously in the thread. As you can
see, Sheehan was protesting the Democrats by claiming, "We put them
back in power." Of course she's wrong, but that's what she believes and
that's why she and her fellow leftists are making demands on the
Democrats.

Anyone who wants to know can read the thread and see it for themselves.
But for those (like you) who are too lazy to go back and look, here's a
synopsis: I wrote a post to Doc that quoted Sheehan, who stepped up to
the microphone abandoned by Emanuel after he was shouted down by the
loud leftists -- and she claimed it was leftists like her group who put
the Democrats in power, and they had DEMANDS! Not requests, DEMANDS!
Then you made some comment that Emanuel needed to take a postion on
Iraq. Obviously, you leftists are unhappy that the Democrats are not
putting an immediate withdrawal from Iraq on the immediate agenda. That
has been my entire point in the thread. I'm not sure why you're having
such a difficult time understanding that.

Probably for the same reason you did earlier in the thread.
And you believe Sheehan specifically targeted Emanual why ?
Probably for the same reason you did earlier in the thread.
You can't make a point unless you tell us what that point is,
Stephen.
I have. Twice now.
So far I've heard you claim that you have, but I haven't heard
the actual reasoning. Just humor me and lay it all out for us
so we all know what you're talking about.
Probably for the same reason you did earlier in this thread. You
can't
remember what you said about Emanuel earlier in this thread?
I was hoping that you could reiterate this reasoning for the
group,
Anyone who wants to know can read the thread and see it for themselves.
Well, in part, Sheehan is correct, but it was an amalgamation of
moderates, far left, and conservative democrats (with some cross overs
mostly from independents, moderate and liberal republicans), that put the
Dems into a majority, especially in the House. Widespread disatisfaction
with the progression of events, politically and strategically, of the War
was a major galvanizing agent.
Yep, Cindy and her friends make demands, Stevie dear, and the Right's been
heard frequently to make their demands on hot political issues, too.
Anyone can make demands, which seems to bother your low-tolerance
personality, but the reality is their demands run counter to polls showing
the public and its representatives are not supporting an immediate
withdrawal.
Now, you should already know that...and stop acting like some protesters'
dramatic theater is going to reverse the situation. If anything reverses
it, it could well be events on the ground in Iraq. If, for example, the
casualty toll was to exponentially increase suddenly, the attitude of the
majority might swing toward an accelerated pull-out.
Your assumption that most left-wingers are disatisfied with a phased
withdrawal (at this moment in history), is wrong. The majority accept a
phased withdrawal, and that was the voters' mandate last fall for the
Dems. I'm sure you focus on the FAR Left's call for an immediate
withdrawal, and extropolate from that your contention that the entire Left
spectrum concurs. It does not! I'd like to see a faster withdrawal. I
think they could have our troops out by summer, but I've been around too
long to expect any great change to suddenly shift the timetable...unless
something extraordinarily weird and nasty occurs in Iraq. There's always
that...'possibility.' LOL! You like 'possibilities' don't ya, kid? Well,
we all like 'em, especially when they lean toward our theories,
ideologies, fears, et al.
I don't know why you regularly overreact to left-wing protests, but I've
found conservatives really seem annoyed by the constitutional right to
peacefully assemble with our grievances against authority...unless it's
something the conservatives fervently support or don't. Now, ya know,
Saddam, or Pinochet, didn't like citizens to do things like protesting
against their authority...you're not missing those ol' coots, are you?
Get off your high horse, kid...and take the magic carpet ride of human
freedom you conservatives keep telling us all this carnage and misery is
the supreme sacrifice for.
That's what you keep tellin' us, anyway...LOL!!! Maybe you should start
embracing and livin' it, too.

Sheehan, you fully know, fuckhead, *****, shitface, Christian idiot
of
all time, was there to exclusively protest the war -- not protest
Emmanuel
or his press conference, or protest against herself, or anything else
you'd possibly like to make out of a simple understandable sentence.
You're wrong. She was there to protest Emanuel because he and Hoyer
were going to talk about the immediate Democratic agenda, which does
not include an *immediate* withdrawal of our troops from Iraq.
You stupid little fart...Sheehan's protest is but one of many planned
against the Iraq War to put into the public forum the clear message that a
majority of the voters who put Democrats into a majority last fall will
not see them back off a public commitment to phase the war down.
Protesters aren't so stupid, Stevie, as to expect Congress will push for
an immediate withdrawal, and have so stated that position repeatedly.
Certainly, their wish is to have the fucking war ended, but they have made
it clear that they cannot reasonably expect the political machinery to
gear up for an immediate withdrawal. Polls show a majority of Americans
and congressmen, left and right, don't favor an immediate withdrawal.
That's why, stupid, the protesters are calling for Dems to make good on
their commitment to a phased withdrawal to begin as soon as possible. If
you knew anything about the leftwing-moderate anti-war movement, you'd
clearly understand that fucking fact. Instead, you've gone off half-cocked
in making false assumptions about the Left's call for an 'immediate'
withdrawal. And we're not going to have an immediate withdrawal, you
idiot, partly because the ***** from Crawford and his gang have no
intention doing it. And the Congress clearly has no majority push for it,
either. It's crystal clear to everyone except radical rightwing alarmists
like your stupid self, you *****.
And, jesus *****, that protest was not against Emmanuel, it was part of a
series of protests against THE WAR, STUPID. You can myopically see it any
way you want, as you've obviously done, for your own biased purposes,
Stevie, but it remains just part of a generalized national antiwar protest
campaign, and there will be many more of these type of 'incidents' to
come. So get used to them, farthead. The public has not only 'had it up to
their ears' with this ***** President and his fucking war, but they're
fed up with rightwing extremists like yourself sucking on their disastrous
failed policy. Stuff it up your *****, Stevie !!!
And, ultimately, events on the ground in Iraq may do more to determine
political actions than whatever Sheehan or the Dems or the Reptilians
do...as was true during the Nam period.
What you are seeing is a venting of rage and frustration with national
leaders and this war quagmire, and the emotions of families and friends of
dead and maimed soldiers, Stevie...and they damn well have the right to
blow it all out as long as it's peaceful. And so far, it's been that way,
peaceful, but boisterous and demanding.
Instead of biting at the fucking bit on the Dems first hours in Congress,
and acting like a total reactionary *****, Stevie, why don't you just
wait for a few weeks, little boy, and see how it will develop and then you
can, maybe, get all worked up over the press reports then??? You can lay
a trail of hot ***** across the usenet then. You show your lack of
political experience and life experience when you go off like a silly
tailless rocket as you did with this story...my god, you are a dumb
*****. Insanely picking away at a simple factual remark I made
which started this ***** from you and I'm damn well prepared to
shove it all up your hiney till you ***** it out your ears, Stevie. I'm
fucking fed up with your assinine obsessions and psychoses here. FED THE
FUCKING UP!!!!! It's like the ape-***** TonyZ's back in the group in the
personage of Stevie, the rightwing steamer...toot! toot! toot!
Blow your whistle, steamer boy!!! R O F L M F A O, goddamnit you
weasel-***** psycho !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anti-War Movement's Impact On New Congress
By Lyanne Melendez
Jan. 4 - KGO - The Democrats now face resistance from Republicans and
pressure from the political left. Some of those on the left want Congress
to address the war in Iraq before taking on other issues. Will the
Democrats give in to pressure from anti-war demonstrators?
The reality is voters expect the Democrats to sort out the mess in Iraq.
The problem is voters have no idea how, and it seems the Democrats as a
whole, don't either. Political strategists say Pelosi must please the left
wing Democrats, but as a savvy politician she's going to initially go with
the voters, and they want her to lead from the center.
It resembled a snapshot of the war protests of the 1960's. In this case
the demonstrators are older but still focused on interrupting business --
just like they did on Wednesday, disrupting a Democratic press conference
in Washington D.C. It was led by Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a solider
who died in Iraq.
Their message to the Congressional Democratic majority is the same as it
was before they took power.
Don Wiepert, anti-war protester: "To move as quickly as possible to get
the troops out of Iraq."
These activists want to make sure House Speaker Nancy Pelosi knows the
Democrats are back in power because of the anti-war movement.
Kat McNulty, Code Pink: "That's why they got the mandate, what we think is
the mandate for peace. That's why people voted for them and now they
aren't carrying through on what people trusted them with."
Dan Schnur is a Republican political strategist. He says Pelosi knows
voters want her to lead from the center.
Dan Schnur, political strategist: "There are a lot of members of her own
party, both protesters and members of Congress, who want to veer far left.
What she is going to have to do is figure out a way to keep them satisfied
without abandoning the political center."
In her speech, Pelosi made reference to ending the war, but the issue
didn't make it on the Democrats to-do list during the first 100 hours in
office. That has disappointed many here.
Dan Schnur. political strategist: "Nobody has a solution to the war in
Iraq with broad political support so starting there would be politically
self-defeating."
Still, that has disappointed many of these protesters.
Stephen McNeal, anti-war protester: "No, you can't solve it in 100 hours
but you can certainly have a House or Senate resolution regarding the war
in Iraq and that's something that may not have any teeth to it but simply
expresses the sentiment of having something in place that brings the
troops back as soon as possible."
In the next day or two, at least one Democrat will propose a resolution to
end the war in Iraq and begin pulling American troops out of that country.
But the President is also presenting his revised plan for Iraq next week.
Many Democrats say they want to hear what Mr. Bush has to say before
taking any kind of action.

[excerpt] House Democratic leaders were giving their first news
conference of the year when the session in the Cannon building was
hijacked by Cindy Sheehan and other antiwar demonstrators, some
wearing
tie-dyed apparel and pins comparing President Bush to Adolf
Hitler. Just after Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) vowed, "We're gonna
cut the interest rate in half for student loans," hecklers began
to chant "De-escalate! Investigate! Troops home now!"
"That is exactly what we're talking about," Emanuel said, trying
to appease the protesters. But the hecklers kept chanting, and he
fled.
The Democratic leaders in retreat, Sheehan seized the microphone.
"We put them back in power," she said of the Democrats. Passing
out fliers
calling for defunding the Iraq war, Sheehan shouted: "These are
our demands. And they're not requests -- they're demands."
If yesterday was any indication, the 110th Congress will be highly
entertaining, if not terribly productive. So far, it's hard to
tell which will be a larger impediment to Democratic leaders: the
McHenrys or the Sheehans. [end excerpt]

ROFL !!! Oh my God! A disruptive protest against an unpopular war,
unnecessary mass death and injury, squandering of public money, and
the crazy ***** who started it!!
Rahm Emmanuel?
Emmanuel started the Iraq War?
No, it was his press conference that was the the target of the
disruptive protest -- therefore your description of the disruptive
protest could only refer to Rahm Emanuel's disrupted press conference.
Your hero Rahm Emmanuel needs to take a position on Iraq. It
is, after all, the "Peoples' House". Sheehan has just as much
right to speak there as anyone else... or perhaps you don't
believe in freedom of speech ?

Rahm Emanuel is responsible for the Democratic majority in the House of
Representatives. If you don't believe me, ask John Lemke. Without
Emauel's brilliant strategy, the Democrats would still be the minority
party. If those loud leftist kooks had continually shouted down Emanuel
leading up to November's election, the Democrats would have LOST
congressional seats.
