"The UN is corrupt and practically worthless."

That is the most ridiculous statement I have ever seen in here. It is
even more silly than Claude's anagrams and Prince Lightwing's
Purgatorial cells.

The principle of the United Nations, it's purpose and existance is
based on sound and moral values.
If and when member Countries hold their own hidden agenda's as being
above the benefit of all, then we can start to look at the word,
'corrupt'. Only start, mind you. 'Corrupt' is a long way removed from
'self-interest'.

Many Countries have cause to be grateful to the UN for it's work...be
it as 'Peace-keepers' or as distributors of provisions.

Practically worthless? Don't be silly now.

Nothing is perfect. Well, maybe you and your God are, but that's
another matter. You dismiss the UN as being irrelevent. It is far from
being such.

Werewolfy

Bush, and the rest of the extreme Right, has desperately tried to portray
the UN as such, because it doesn't support the Christian Taliban politics,
and will call a spade a spade, regardless of whether it's Israel or
Pakistan.

False. Did you miss my reference to the Islamic Republic of Sudan,
where a genocide took place for the past couple of decades? Where was
the vaunted UN on that situation?

The Christian Taliban can't have Israel ever be a spade, because then
who would rebuild the Temple to make Jesus come back and kill all
the Jews?

What? You know, pharisee, I can only assume you're referring to me
since you seem to be explaining my post to Wolfy (notice he had just
responded to my post). Now, could you use your "holier-than-thou"
intellect to provide a cite for what you wrote just above?

(Yeah, welcome to wacko-land!)

And you label me a pharisee. Amazing.

Geez, it's easy to get your goat. Grow a skin, fer cryin' out loud! 9_9

Just highlighting your hypocrisy. Now, could you please provide that
cite I asked for a couple of paragraphs above?

Shows only that you are biased. Israel has the right to defend itself and
the Palies don't have the right to attack her. All these resolutions have a
condemnation of the terror acts that led to the defense, acts which are
always much worse in their nature. But there are countries that are
fundamentally antisemitic which is why for instance they adopted a
resolution about the nature of the sionist regime as racist which was later
condemned and anulled.
And it is because these have people like you, full of hate, who make them
so.
