Update on Mexican helicopter incursion story
On June 5, ABP spotted a black helicopter flying into Mexico and then
back into the U.S. [click here for details, photos]. -- ABP has now
learned that that helicopter is part of a Mexican military operation
and that it actually landed near a Border Patrol camera more than a
mile north of the border. Heavily armed personnel were seen leaving the
helicopter for a short while before it flew back into Mexico.

June 30, 2005 -- On Tuesday, June 28, American Border Patrol spotted a
Mexican Army Humvee parked right on the border. Mexican troops could be
seen nearby. (Closer shots would have been made but the camera zoom was
temporarily inoperative.) According to ABP the troops seemed be engaged
in some kind of activity involving something on the ground. ABP
departed the scene after about 20 minutes leaving the troops busy at
work.

felicidad,
JJ
