Montreal Shrink
Calls Nostradamus Author a Paranoid,
Sadistic Megalomaniac
By Staff and Wire Reports
Cataclysmic Black
1-9-07
A new book by a prominent Montreal psychoanalyst says
Nostradamus
author, Jean Guernon, is a "paranoid megalomaniac" as well as a sadist
and "untreated alcoholic." The doctor's analysis appears to confirm
earlier reports that Guernon may be emotionally unstable after
witnesses
allegedly observed him making obscene gestures outside a Montreal cafe
that caters to Arab-Canadians.
Dr. Justin Blunt, writing in Guernon on the Couch: Inside the
Warped Mind of A Prophecy Fanatic, also says Guernon has a ""lifelong
streak of sadism, ranging from childhood pranks (using firecrackers to
explode frogs and putting lit road flares in pigs' asses) to insulting
people, gloating over state executions, joyful singing over the mass
murder of Muslims ... [and] pumping his fist gleefully before the
bombing
of Baghdad."
Even worse, Dr. Blunt concludes, Guernon's years of heavy
drinking
""may have affected his brain function - and his decision to lie about
his
drinking puts him at far higher risk of ending up a pathetic
panhandling
street drunk."
Dr. Blunt's revelations comes on the heels of last week's
Cataclysmic Black's exclusive that revealed increasing concern by
prophecy
fans over Guernon's emotional stability.
Guernon's few friends, who spoke only on condition that their
names be withheld, told stories of wide mood swings by Guernon who
would
go from quoting the Bible or Nostradamus one minute to obscenity-filled
outbursts, public urination or targeted spitting the next.
"I got a face full of his saliva," one Arab-Canadian woman said
after she allegedly called President George W. Bush a "f--king liar and
an
idiot."
Guernon shows an inability to grieve - dating back to age 7,
when
his sister died. "The family's reaction - no funeral and no mourning -
set
in motion his life-long pattern of turning away from pain [and hiding]
behind bizarre antic behavior and grim apocalyptic predictions," says
Frank, who says Guernon may suffer from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity
Disorder.
Other findings by Dr. Blunt:
His mother, Jolina Guernon- tabbed by some family friends as
"the
one who instills fear and loathing" - had trouble connecting
emotionally
with her son, Blunt argues. Jacques Guernon, his father, displayed
"emotional and physical absence during his son's youth triggered
feelings
of both adoration and revenge in Jean Guernon." Guernon suffers from
"character pathology," including "grandiosity" and "megalomania" --
viewing himself, Nostradamus and God as interchangeable. Dr. Blunt has
been a psychiatrist for 35 years and is director of psychiatry at
Montreal
University. A Democrat, he once headed the Ontario Chapter of
Physicians
for Social Responsibility.
In an interview with The Washington Post's Richard Leiby, Dr.
Blunt said he began to be concerned about Guernon's increasingly
strange
behavior in 2002.
"I was really very unsettled by him and I started watching
everything he did and reading what he wrote, and watching him on
videotape. I felt he was horribly disturbed," Dr. Blunt told Leiby.
Guernon, he said, "fits the profile of a heavy drinker whose alcoholism
has not been treated."
Dr. Blunt's expert recommendation? ""Our sole treatment option
--
for his benefit and for ours -- is to have Guernon voluntarily submit
to a
rehab center. . . before it is too late."

Well, sure it's made up. I'm a humorist, a satirist, but I'm not so sure
some parts of it don't have a basis in fact...as humor often does. This is
a reprint of an old Dr. Blunt 'classic' piece of satire which met with
considerable acceptance by such APN luminaries as Susan and Dani, to name
just two of many. Many thought it was very funny. I felt kind of misty
eyed today and wanted to bring back a little nostalgia. *sniff*
I wonder if there are any one here who is impressed by your lies that

I'll have you know, Jeano, that none of my satire comes out of my *****. It
all comes out my creative mind. You, however, are an *****...
I doubt it.
Don't...accept the fun and humor of it, and stop moaning and pissing about
it like a kid in a hissy fit. It cheapens your character.

Lies, slander, without a shred of substance, doesn't get truer because you
want to call it humor Bunk. But you lie even about something that evident.
Krusty the Clown is funnier than you.
*Anyone* who finds this, or any of the similar things you do, funny, is a

Lol...However, since this satire is so close to the truth, I must say
that I pity Guernon, as I would the Village Idiot, and have about as
much respect. However, Guernon IS the Village Idiot of APN, and we
should not be too cruel to such a person. Yes, he's ignorant. Yes,
he's an alcoholic, and a failed author, a racist, and hateful

set
in motion his life-long pattern of turning away from pain [and hiding]
behind bizarre antic behavior and grim apocalyptic predictions," says

Nothing is true in the satire nor in what you write, Eric, the shame of
Canada. Not surprising though that you kiss each other's butts.
J.
You're just jealous your ***** isn't being kissed by either of us...and I
must say, it'd be a wrenching experience to see it au naturel. Apparenty,
though, Stevie doesn't mind it at all...

Yes, I suppose you're right, eric...since I am bipolar, I know all too
well how the severely mentally ill and socially disabled struggle and
suffer in this cruel world.
I don't know how it is to be so stupid and ignorant, a racist, and a
degenerate, though, as Jeano is, but I will try to be more sympathetic and
empathetic from now on...
I do pity him...you are right.

Lol...However, since this satire is so close to the truth, I must say
that I pity Guernon, as I would the Village Idiot, and have about as
much respect. However, Guernon IS the Village Idiot of APN, and we
should not be too cruel to such a person. Yes, he's ignorant. Yes,
he's an alcoholic, and a failed author, a racist, and hateful
degenerate, but such a person really should be more pitied than
reviled, don't you think?
