My Views.
After reading the "Bush Resume" (BTW, GREAT JOB!!!), I decided I would post
my opinion of the status of the USA in 2004 and the upcoming election.
First, some background on me, so you don't think I am just a troll who
barely escaped going to the loony bin:
I am from SW Missouri. I was born in 1962. My parents (born in 1918 and
1920) lived in the same city since 1946. My father was a high-ranking law
enforcement officer, my mother a housewife. I have 3 brothers, 1 sister. My
oldest brother is also retired law enforcement. The other two are managers
in the auto industry. My sister is a very successful business owner. I am
the lead engineer at a local hospital. I have been married 3 times, have 3
great kids, one in college, one an honor student (straight A's) and one has
just turned 4. I am a Christian (not a very good one, though), I am very
conservative, and I love my country. I hate what Bush and his administration
are doing to my country.
Growing up during the social turbulence during the 60's and 70's, I saw the
implementation of thoughts and ideas that benefit all of us, as well as many
mistakes that are still haunting us today. The Viet Nam war..thousands of
men and women died and were maimed due to failed foreign policy in a war
that was not morally acceptable. What's worse, the soldiers who served were
forgotten by their government, and ostracized by their fellow Americans.
Many went to serve willingly..many more went because they had no other
choice. All paid a price..some larger than others. Many people who lived in
this country who were not truly free began to see the dream of Dr. King
begin to take shape, even though it has not developed the way it was
envisioned. People everywhere began to question the policies and laws
enacted by our leaders..change was happening, and the government had to
answer for the things it had done.
Since then, we as a people have become complacent. We no longer question why
things are done: We only follow blindly. We trust every word that is said,
because we all know the powers that be would never do anything to hurt the
American people.
Wrong.
I have seen freedoms slowly being eroded since I was a small boy. Oh, most
of the things were right but for the wrong reasons.for example, the funding
for highways and roads to the states was tied into a law that made the
funding formula dependent upon seat belt and helmet laws. If the states didn
't pass laws requiring the use of helmets and seat belts, funding was
reduced or totally cut off. (This is blackmail). While I do not deny the
lives saved due to the use of these safety devices, the forcing of the
states to require their use is coercion in the worst way.
Now we live under the shadow of the so-called Patriot act. This law enables
the government, and certain individuals within the government, to
investigate those who endanger our country, our freedom, our way of life. On
the surface, it sounds great. America should be safe. But the way the law is
written is just plain wrong. Our constitution gives the President authority
to do many things..martial law, declaration of war, etc., but also balances
these powers by giving congress the job of insuring these same powers will
not be abused. However, the PA does not require the same checks and
balances. The government no longer is required to verify the need for their
actions. Now they can act without just cause. Every part of the PA was
already in place in our government before 9-11, except one: Then, the
government had to have just cause to act..now, certain individuals in the
government gave themselves authority to act without any checks or balances
in place. This is a very dangerous place for America to be. I suggest you
read the history of Germany from 1920-1945, if the books are available in
the library. I am not saying Bush is a Nazi, nor am I comparing him to
Hitler..you decide that for yourself. What I am saying is that the PA is
similar in form to laws enacted in Germany during that period. Hitler was
evil, and abused the law to gain and hold power. No one knows exactly how
many died or suffered from his use of those laws.
America has similar laws in place today. Americans need to understand that
the man in charge in Washington has the ability to declare martial law,
suspend our freedoms, detain loyal citizens, remove our rights granted by
the constitution, and all he has to say is "National Security".
It is a PROVEN FACT that George Bush:
Is a convicted criminal;
Lied to the American people to forward his own agenda;
Is using 'strong-arm tactics' to remove those he finds politically unaligned
with him (i.e. the National Parks Police Chief)
I do not know what the next 4 years will bring, but if America continues its
current path, my children will not be growing up in the same safe, secure
America I did. It seems more probable that they will be living in a country
reminiscent of the movie "Philadelphia Experiment II".
Please do not vote without studying the issues and candidates. Do not just
go by what the media is telling you. Do not follow blindly. Do not vote for
someone just because of party affiliation. Educate yourself on history, the
candidates, the state of the country (and yes, I am much worse off than I
was 4 years ago, thank you, GWB..you try feeding a family on my salary.),

EDUCATED BEFORE you go to the polls.

My Views.
After reading the "Bush Resume" (BTW, GREAT JOB!!!), I decided I would post

choice. All paid a price..some larger than others. Many people who lived in
this country who were not truly free began to see the dream of Dr. King
begin to take shape, even though it has not developed the way it was
envisioned.
Nope.
People everywhere began to question the policies and laws
enacted by our leaders..change was happening,
I believe once the media and Hollywood destroyed the people who were
searching for lefties in our country they kept coming and now they are
here. Regardless of the civil rights movement, envisioned by many
framers long ago – but had to wait on the overwhelmingly lefty south
to stop their greedy ( And some rightist too) slave farms, America has
been infiltrated with leftist policies. Political Correctness is one
of them. This is an age old concept employed for many centuries under
different names and guises, but with them drastic affects. America,
by-en-large, was a rightwing country when it started, minus
discrimination. Then by the ‘60s and ‘70s, many factors played into
the country going for the most part to the left. Even many Republicans
today have tended to appease the left while still claiming right-wing
values. Freedom was at the heart of rightwing societies in history.
Socialism and Kingship are not. They are built on class designation.
There never has been a real communistic civilization that was run
purely on its concepts of equality for all. Many have tried, but fell
away to classes developing into Subject-Privilege polarizations
castes.
and the government had to
answer for the things it had done.
The CIA was never a good idea. It is only good in times of big wars
and should be disbanded after them.
Since then, we as a people have become complacent.
You can blame, money that America made after WWII in the New
Imperialism stage of its existence. The framers predicted this,
because their models were the Romans and Greeks who fell to the same
perils, of spoils of war and first place status among the world as a
superpower..
We no longer question why
things are done:
The left media is another factor. Go to Gallup to see the trends from
statistics 10-20 years ago. The media has moved right-to-left in
numbers of organizations promoting leftwing policies.
We only follow blindly.
Complacency: laws , and new media peer pressure not to be involved in
politics.
We trust every word that is said,
I do not. And the Internet helps by more sources.
because we all know the powers that be would never do anything to hurt the
American people.
Like I said the lefties have infiltrated the highest offices of the
U.S.A. There were never lefties this extreme in American history in
government before.
I have seen freedoms slowly being eroded since I was a small boy.
Me too and overwhelmingly they have come from leftwing PC (Government
officials) promoted 'feel good' policies, that are in essence
restrictions on free speech.
Oh, most
of the things were right
In the beginning, I can say most - especially the Puritans who allowed
the blacks to live freely and have lawyers from the beginning. They
were right-wingers.
but for the wrong reasons.for example, the funding
for highways and roads to the states was tied into a law that made the
funding formula dependent upon seat belt and helmet laws. If the states didn
't pass laws requiring the use of helmets and seat belts, funding was
reduced or totally cut off.
That was two leftist policies. Again, Freedom implies responsibility,
and responsibility implies risks. And if one does not risk something
he or she will usually never get what they want in life. Thus, they
complain and blame others as you are doing and so many others.
(This is blackmail).
If you want to talk about leftwing waste in my city. The City employs
about 30-50 men for two weeks to put up dainty, pretty, delicate
center dividers on city streets that costs hundreds of thousands of
dollars and looks like crap, but the pot holes in the middle of the
road go unattended for decades. That's lefty politics for you.
Meanwhile people still get into accidents because they roads are
pitted with gaps and holes. How do I know there are leftwing
decisions? My hole city is leftwing.
While I do not deny the
lives saved due to the use of these safety devices, the forcing of the
states to require their use is coercion in the worst way.
Now we live under the shadow of the so-called Patriot act.
There is nothing different about the Patriot act and the fierce acts
of imprisoning Japanese during WWII and ' loose lips sinks ships'
policies of no-free speech in times of war. So the Patriot act which
has a time limit will be put out after the terrorists succumb.
This law enables
the government, and certain individuals within the government, to
investigate those who endanger our country,
That is a good thing? Do you have a problem with that? I don't. I have
nothing to hide.
our freedom, our way of life.
Like I said 'Our Freedom' is still here but eroding to the PC
spearheaded crowed mostly enacted by the leftwing in American society
that I said has now infiltrated out highest offices in the land. You
want to see less freedom elect J. Kerry who is said to be more left
than Ted Kennedy – Now that's bordering on 20th century communism. If
you remember your history in communism there was not freedoms but you
could work all day for the state and on the weekends stand in 2-5 hour
lines at the grocery store.
On
the surface, it sounds great. America should be safe. But the way the law is
written is just plain wrong. Our constitution gives the President authority
to do many things.
That's how the framers set it up. He has limited powers. He cannot
call martial law forever, or become dictator – the constitution does
not allow this, and neither would the American people. I believe you
are exaggerating some type of fear. There is not fear. It's the best
laws in the history of the world.
.martial law, declaration of war, etc., but also balances
these powers by giving congress the job of insuring these same powers will
not be abused. However, the PA does not require the same checks and
balances. The government no longer is required to verify the need for their
actions.
That's been going on since Vietnam era, and I agree. But again
Congress votes in the funding so they still have the SAY! Get it?
Now they can act without just cause.
No it doesn't. Suspicion is a cause, but they still need to back up
with facts their suspicions.
Every part of the PA was
already in place in our government before 9-11, except one:
Its called FEMA and was in place a long time before you and me were
born. Presidents in the ‘50s tried to use it but the Supreme Court
shut them down. That is in Law History Books.
Then, the
government had to have just cause to act..now, certain individuals in the
government gave themselves authority to act without any checks or balances
in place.
Unfortunately this is not totally true, but it has come out that the
congress passes the majority of Bills without reading them. Then small
loopholes are found by lawyers and then the results are as you say.
This is a very dangerous place for America to be. I suggest you
read the history of Germany from 1920-1945, if the books are available in
the library. I am not saying Bush is a Nazi, nor am I comparing him to

When was America safe? Never. America is the land of the free and use

How about we just drop the "hand-out" part for a second then...
America is a cake-walk... food is in no short supply, the water is (for

That's because America has been changed after WWII. Social programs
never envisioned have, for the most part, been introduced into our
society. There are many factors that play into this including
international trade, but this historical dynamic is too complex
possibly for you to understand and can be argued in both Greek and
Roman periods because these same factors arose in their societies
similar to ours.
http://groups.google.com/groups?q=author:nospam.aidan%40linknet.com.au&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&selm=newscache%24xkdm0i%24pkm%241%40titan.linknet.com.au&rnum=4

My point about Amrica's hostpital system is, they are run with a primary
function to make money...
That is the capitalistic way. This way introduces healthy competition,
which breeds technological progress in medicine and ways of
administrating medicine. For the most part America has a socialistic
healthcare system in place. However, the free services are usually
designated to interns of the medical business, whereas Hillary
Clinton’s health care plan would designate full fledged degreed
doctors for all. However, this would result in massive taxes as her
plan showed and massive taxes increased loss jobs by employers who
cannot afford to keep employing as many workers because the government
has taken the money that otherwise would have gone to a person’s
salary.
this is in contrast to a socialized hospital
system, where the hospitals main purpose is to treat medical ailments...
Well one factor that plays into socializes hospitals is that more
people visit them because of a higher sickness rate do to unhealthy
living because they are no longer employed because the employers were
heavily taxed by the government and could no longer employ them so
they get sicker and more dire often. This one part of the dilemma of
socialized system.
Do you know how many Canadians come down to America for our free
medical system , because the doctors see them right away whereas their
socialistic system is so slow that it takes months to get to the right
doctor.
Another factor is that Socialized Medicine creates lesser salaries for
doctors increasing malpractices and doctors who are not quite ready to
work. This is because when a doctor goes to school in the United
States he or she has to go to school so many years, then internship,
before working toward their Doctorate Degrees.’ This means they want
to be paid well. If their salaries go down because the government pays
it, then they will want to work at another job that takes less time to
get that degree and not become a doctor.
The next factor is that there is a great shortage of experienced
nurses and Doctors in America. This is because of what I just said
above in regards to pay. In the Early nineties, Hillary and her
socialistic crowd were working on a national socialist, European style
healthcare system. The students of medicine became scared and changed
their degrees. Why? Because to go to school, internship, then
residence, is hard work and come out and get paid ***** by the
government is not worth it.
Now that you seen some of the pitfalls, you will see more bad medicine
practices as your link below. There will always be mishaps in
medicine, either in a free market ( Mostly) like America or socialism.
Yet, the stats show that American Medical System is by-en-large the
best in the world. This system is run off of capitalism ( See reason
above).
Don't believe me? Read this:

If you read the Socialist MSNBC article they even admit this was rare
case and not the norm. You just failed at an attempt show one rare
occurrence means that our system is inferior to Sweden. How about the
millions of free patients that go to our hospitals everyday and have
success after success in our medical care?
The reason why you bring this up is that the leftwing rag is told to
dwell on the negative because it advances their socialistic agenda by
scaring the people into thinking they need nationalized healthcare.
Unfortunate they got to you.

I other words you have no logic or history to argue facts. I can
accept that.
To clarify the leftist source you used:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_spectrum
I see there is no in-depth detail to the accusations that is surly
from the public, because this is a public contributed encyclopedia –
which is fine, and I look at it too, but some things are left-out.
lefts investigate shall we;)
(a)[right] with Conservatism, theocracy, or Fascism\
OK First off - wikipedia is a leftist encyclopedia outfit. So
naturally they will lie as the leftist always seem to do – to avoid
responsibility.
For example,
Fascism is a combination of Socialism and Nartionalism. This is a
fact.
continue example,
http://en.wikipedia.org/ tells you socialism is left, yet places
Fascism in the right. So therefore they have no idea what they are
talking about. Why? Because I can argue the facts in history to
support my claims. – wikipedia does not argue because they cannot.
So a short piece of crap is given for a very important issue in world
history.
You want some more proof to what I just said? If Right was facism,
then the founders would have not drafted a democratic system of
government.
*Tomas Jefferson was one of the strictest rightist in politics (
-minus slavery issues)
according to wikipedia.org definition of 'fascism' being rightwing, TJ
and the rest of the framers of the United States Constitution should
fall in neatly with this definition.
Fascism: 'A system of government marked by centralization of
authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls,
suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and
typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.' -
Dictionary.com ( Source see below)
Do I see this agenda in the Constatution of the United States? Nope.
Maybe you are a liar ;)
It calls for limited government, Freedoms, individual rights, and
control for the states - not centralized.
You look mightily like a lair there pal ;)

To clarify the leftist source you used:
NOW: compare to the leftwing ***** site you just used to try to justify
your stupidity.
Where has the right in America, called for central control and a
dictator? Where were they racist. Surely it was not the rightwing
Puritians who allowed blacks freedom from the start while the southern
leftist liberals held slave farms until the Civil War faorced them to
free them?
You will not see your ***** encyclopedia bring up these arguments, will
you?
Extreme example: Berkley University the most leftist of the political
spectrum schools on the west cost issued a investigation on the right
verses the left in history and came up with the ignoramus conclusion
that Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Hitler, Marx and Engels, Pol Pot, Communism
etc... traditional lefties and all the other leftist systems in
history were in fact, so they wrongly concluded, right-wing. In
otherwords they were in denial. Something I say you are in.
the 2 main thoughts are flawed
Yes, and it is easy to see wikipedia restated this in their ignorance.
It is a public forum,a Free Encyclopedia that anyone can submit for
revewal. I guess they have cheaply paid employess and a agenda, or at
lest on this aspect of their website.
Once again they cannnot back up their claims againt The American
Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, or for that matter, most
of the real sources of knowlege in the world. The devil is lying to
you pal and he wants you to remain stupid. That was the leftist plan,
in order for them to sell you this crap, in the beginning.
to a likes of which I've never seen
before...
You see this leftist crap on all the leftist websites like
Democratunderground etc... garbage places.
I have to wonder what research
Me too ;) I guess wikipedia is leftist in the aspect of their site. I
sure shows.
(if any) you did before
writting that report, but here's what 3-4 seconds of googling turned up:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_spectrum
LOL!
http://www.digitalronin.f2s.com/politicalcompass/analysis2.html
lol.
That is only a political view and no argument of systems of
government. That is a bias person or groups view of who they think is
authoritarian and who is not. They again have no argument over what
is right and what is left in systems of government.
PLUS: You are not smart enough to read into the confusion they stated
either - Or the honesty of confusion they say in the recaps about this
chart. LOL.
the polarisation you achieve is astounding... I don't know why you
bothered linking to that, but damn... talk about an editorial
masquerading as facts
If you want to argue the The American Heritage® Dictionary definition
of Fascism, be my guest, I will cite lefty's in history through the
ages over and over.
Unfortunately you cannot.
<*SNIP BS*>
lol.

*BZZZZZT*
Oh I'm sorry Micky D, but thanks for playing anyway...
You instantly lose your credibility by saying "oh, you linked to a =
leftie outfit"... It's a wikiwiki you *****, just because it's =
maintained by a lose knit community in a socially beneficial manner, =
DOES NOT automatically make all the views contained within instantly =
leftist... OK then, just to prove it that this is not a left-wing bias, =
I'll link to the very reputable (and commercial, hence right-wing) =
Encyclopaedia Britannica:
Left wing: =
http://www.britannica.com/ebc/article?eu=3D395257&query=3Dideology&ct=3D
"In politics, the portion of the political spectrum associated in =
general with egalitarianism and popular or state control of the major =
institutions of political and economic life. The term dates from the =
1790s, when in the French revolutionary parliament the socialist =
representatives sat to the presiding officer's left. Leftists tend to be =
hostile to the interests of traditional elites, including the wealthy =
and members of the aristocracy, and to favour the interests of the =
working class (see proletariat). They tend to regard social welfare as =
the most important goal of government. Socialism is the standard leftist =
ideology in most countries of the world; communism is a more radical =
leftist ideology."
Right wing: =
http://www.britannica.com/ebc/article?eu=3D402237&query=3Dright&ct=3D
"Portion of the political spectrum associated with conservative =
political thought. The term derives from the seating arrangement of the =
French revolutionary parliament (c. 1790s) in which the conservative =
representatives sat to the presiding officer's right. In the 19th =
century, the term applied to conservatives who supported authority, =
tradition, and property. In the 20th century a divergent, radical form =
developed that was associated with fascism. See also left."
Hmm, Britannica supports Wikipeadia's assertion that the right is more =
so associated with authority than the left... not only that, but they =
point out that the left is more often associated with opposition of =
centralized power... they also support the assertion that right wing can =
be Fascist.. lets see what they say about fascism, shall we:
Fascism: http://www.britannica.com/ebc/article?eu=3D389545
"Philosophy of government that stresses the primacy and glory of the =
state, unquestioning obedience to its leader, subordination of the =
individual will to the state's authority, and harsh suppression of =
dissent. Martial virtues are celebrated, while liberal and democratic =
values are disparaged. Fascism arose during the 1920s and '30s partly =
out of fear of the rising power of the working classes; it differed from =
contemporary communism (as practiced under Joseph Stalin) by its =
protection of business and landowning elites and its preservation of =
class systems. The leaders of the fascist governments of Italy =
(1922-43), Germany (1933-45), and Spain (1939-75)-Benito Mussolini, =
Adolf Hitler, and Francisco Franco-were portrayed to their publics as =
embodiments of the strength and resolve necessary to rescue their =
nations from political and economic chaos. Japanese fascists (1936-45) =
fostered belief in the uniqueness of the Japanese spirit and taught =
subordination to the state and personal sacrifice. See also =
totalitarianism; neofascism."
Oh, so Britannica supports the Political Compass I linked to in saying =
that Hitler was a right wing fascist, by pointing out that he was all =
for protecting land and property rights, not taking them away in the =
name of the state (unless you were a Jew)... I'm betting you're going to =
come out and claim the Britannica is a leftist organization now? What a =
laugh you are... what is interesting is this "neofascism" they link =
to... let's take a look:
Neofascism: http://www.britannica.com/ebc/article?eu=3D409628
"Political philosophy and movement that arose in Europe in the decades =
following World War II. Like earlier fascist movements, neofascism =
advocated extreme nationalism, opposed liberal individualism, attacked =
Marxist and other left-wing ideologies, indulged in racist and =
xenophobic scapegoating, and promoted populist right-wing economic =
programs. Unlike the fascists, however, neofascists placed more blame =
for their countries' problems on non-European immigrants than on =
leftists and Jews, displayed little interest in taking lebensraum =
(German: "living space") through the military conquest of other states, =
and made concerted efforts to portray themselves as democratic and =
"mainstream." The National Front in France, led by Jean-Marie Le Pen, =
and the Liberal-Democratic Party in Russia, led by Vladimir Zhirinovsky, =
are often cited as neofascist."
Well wadda ya know, YOU (and Tony, and Jean) are a neofascists... how =
does it feel to be a fascist Micky D?
Game. Set. Match.
Do some research, you friggin loser, before you try to claim =
credibility...

*BZZZZZT*
Oh I'm sorry Micky D, but thanks for playing anyway...
You instantly lose your credibility by saying "oh, you linked to a
leftie outfit"...
Nope. And britannica.com also has a flaw. Conservative has nothing to
do with right vs. left. Therefore you are wrong.
If a new country begins totally socialist, then 100 years later
another party opposes them and wants to turn democratic, the socialist
party because they became first are called conservative. Because that
is what conserving does - conserves the past.
The reason that the Republican party can where that mantle called
conservative is that America was basically rightwing from the
beginning minus the leftist- slave owner populations.
Since you have a puny area in your brain that you utilize. Let me make
another example. If a country begins as a leftist dictatorship and
anther party challenges that party 100 years later, the dictatorship (
Which is left) remains the conserving party of traditional values.
If you read below you will find out that Conservative in a country's
history is always defined and has nothing to do with left or right.
However you have no brains , so what can I say about your little
displays of emotion?
So you still remain an ignoramus.
Do some research, you friggin loser, before you try to claim
credibility...
I just did and proved you cannot understand what you read. Go back and
re-read your posts idiot. So lets recap, shall we?
Britannica defines conservative and it is not a standard system but
changes with the political spectrum from the beginnings stages of a
country to the middle to the ending stages of the country. The
founding stage, or adopted stage of politics is usually considered the
conservative during the middle and ending stages of that countries
periods, because it is based on traditional founding values.
Summery: Basically you cannot understand what Britannica says because
you are an idiot.

Aiden, talking to Mad MacDonald is rather like arguing with a cabbage.
Well, it is the same thing I suppose.
He is without doubt clinically insane. His English (if you can call it
that) is on a par with the average 6 year-old child's, and wisdom is a
word that is far beyond his comprehension.
He is....defective to a point that, were he a farm animal, he would
have been 'put down' years ago.
An adult should confiscate his computer and send him to bed without

Very close to arguing with a cabbage.. though I would liken him more to a

Is a convicted criminal;
I'm not aware of any reports that George Bush was convicted of any criminal act.
Please supply a source for this.
