Almost everyone has heard of the pirate Blackbeard, but how much do you
really know about him..
The Caribbean in the early 18th century where pirates were causing serious
damage on Spanish ships... till the Spanish Armada was complet destroyed
middle of February 18 1788... by a Magic Hand called "Black Pearl", under

POST the Quatrains in the 'Original' (French) language, and then interpret them 'verse by
verse'.
It is more likely that people will see the connection (and ward off [ignore] the NAY Sayers).
Then just trying to do a 'loose' English translation !!!

CIVQ 80. The action in lines 1-3 must have taken place in the course of
many wars, and has recently been applied quite nicely to the Maginot
Line and the Fall of France. The only limiting detail occurs in line 4.
If the word collisee merely means "clash," we have no clue. But if it
means colosseum, the scene is much limited. The word is synonymous with
amphitheater. The most famous remains of a Roman amphitheater are in
Rome, and the action may be set here. if set in France, the most famous
specimen is at Nimes, while lesser ones are at Arles and Frejus.
No one could rightly claim that the meaning of the quatrains is always
quite apparent. However, the common view that they either have no
meaning at all, or have a meaning so equivocal that they can be applied
to almost anything, is far from true.
To a large extent, this view has been strengthened by Nostradamus'
greatest propagandists who, in an effort to glorify his name, have
twisted many prophecies to an application for which they could never
have. been intended, thus serving only, to discredit him.
