a 5 A4 pages letter of propaganda of Jihad was stabbed into the body by a
knife
on the body of Theo van Gogh. The letter contained "justifications" for the
murder and stated that other persons in The Netherlands are also on a list
to
be murdered. First one is Ayaan Hirsy Ali, the Somalian/Dutch Liberal member
of parliament. Another one is Geert Wilders, also a Liberal, sort of
fortuynist
of Dutch parliament. The mayor of Amsterdam Job Cohen, a jew, is also on
this
list.
For the record, I condemn all terrorists activities everywhere on this
planet. I
condemn the murder of Theo van Gogh. I have seen him many times on TV and,
although I did not always agree with his provocative manners I could laugh
always when I heared him criticizing all fundamentalisms of all religions,
Christians,
Jews, Muslims and others.
The uncle of Theo van Gogh, with the same name Theo van Gogh was murdered
by nazis in WWII. One generation further back he was related to the famous
Dutch
painter Vincent van Gogh. Theo van Gogh's father attended the
cremationceremony
in Amsterdam and delivered a speech. It caused a lump in my throat. First
his
brother in WW2 and now his son.

by Theo van Gogh and Ayaan Hirsy Ali, a Somalian Dutch Liberal member of
parliament. She is also on the list of these terrorists to be murdered
because
like Van Gogh she criticizes the islam.

Yes, there are fusses about such films, but I don't recall it going to such
an extreme. NO ONE I heard ever threatened the makers of that film with
death...they wanted the film banned.
BTW, this was mainstream radio...the most popular radio station in Toronto.
The guest was a young Canadian muslim woman who has written a book calling
for the modernization of Islam, called "The Trouble with Islam". They were
discussing the Van Gogh case along with the fact that she has received
numerous death threats and travels with bodyguards. From what I understand,
somewhere in the 3-page diatribe that was stuck to the body with a knife,
the assassin made clear that he was being killed for making the film.

Fair enough. Having read Barbarossa's post on teh subject too (as he is from
NL, not because I don't believe you) I accept that the reasons given for his

Well they have released the letter, that was planted with a knife in his chest.
It's not the film per se, he also ehhhh 'stampeded' the islam as a whole, many
