Obese woman nearly dies in stuck elevator

KUWAIT: A 120-kilogram Egyptian woman in her 50s almost suffocated when
she got stuck in an elevator for 30 minutes. The woman was on her way
to visit a friend on the fourth floor of an apartment building when the
elevator stopped. Rescue workers rescued the woman from the elevator
and rushed her to the hospital. The ordeal frightened the woman, who
was amazed she survived.
Lets take a few moments to analyse this shall we?
Her friend was on the 4th floor but she decided to use the elevator
instead of walking. Gee ... She's obese? I wonder why? Hmmmmm.....
How many rescue workers & how much money did it cost to rescue her?
The ordeal "frightened" her? Did it frighten her enough to drop some
weight, adopt a healthy lifestyle and take the stairs next time? I'll
give you three guesses (the first two don't count).
She was "amazed" that she survived? After just 30 minutes? Talk about
your lowered expectations!

Ummm..Are you native to the planet Earth?
It has a great deal to do with comportment, standing, social grace,
courtesy, intelligence and so any more attributes.
When a thuggish-looking man passes you by, replete with 'skinhead'
identity, gaily be-decked with swastikas, swearing at old ladies, do
you not classify him as being a person you would rather not spend time
with?
So it is with fat tattooed women. They belong to a class, a class I
don't care to mix with. A class that is so often loud and uncouth.
Try a touch of 'people watching'. It won't take you too long to reach
the same conclusions as do I. That is providing your own standards are
above those 'enjoyed' by the people I criticise.

collection if ever there was one! It's like all groups I suppose, some
very nice people, others less so. I don't subscribe to many of the wild
ideas, but it's sort of 'home'...;)
Like all things in life, change creeps up slowly and is often
unnoticed. It really was quite a 'cultural' shock when I returned in
April this year. This isn't the England I left twenty years ago. Hell,
I'm suprised the Island still floats! ;)

premium. The tattooed brigade who communicate in bellows, rather than
with discretion, have taken over. I'm still trying to come to terms
with living here again.

My office is at a slightly lower level than the street. Further down the
street is our Heritage Park. Streams of families pass my window on the way
to the park every day. Not only are the mothers tattooed but small children
are too:(( I boy of about four sat on my window ledge to wait for his
mother. It was a hot day and he had his shirt off. He had a tattoo going
right down his spine and across the top of his hips!!! I was not surprised
to see his (huge) mother also tattooed right down her arms. Of course she
was doing the mandatory screaching at her young. This is in Scotland btw:(
