Yep, I don't think we've seen the worst of Bush yet. This win will just fuel
his delusions of grandeur further. Bin Laden must be celebrating tonight as
Bush will contribute more to the downfall of America than he himself could
ever dream.

Strangely enough I'm getting used to the hell. I think the
psychologists call it habitual desensitization. Now Bush is
saying he wants to privatize social security accounts and
overhaul the tax system. This should require no more than
5 Trillion Dollars. Where does he find the money, raise
taxes or issue more debt?

under Bush. I think we're headed for a record debt.
God help future generations who end up with senior citizens who invested their
private funds poorly and are destitute.

Raises debt. We've gone from a record surplus under Clinton to a record

Continued deficit spending is a problem. If you look at
Pete Peterson's book 'Running on Empty' our gov't is
selling about 5Billion dollars PER DAY of debt instruments
to finance it's current operations. If somehow that debt
becomes less attractive to investors the gov't will have
to make up the funds in some other way - by raising taxes.
God help future generations who end up with senior citizens who invested
their private funds poorly and are destitute.
No doubt. I think there's too many moderate republicans
in Congress to let that sort of idiocy pass into law.
