The pendulum, swings, Marvin. It'll work out, even if some people have to
suffer and fall by the wayside - expect to see lots of bankruptcies,
foreclosures, and other similar personal "disasters". That just seems to
be the way things go.

You know what else really sucks is talking to some young kids who've
suffered life-changing injuries in Iraq, like lost limbs or massive
burns, shrapnel splatter, etc. Now they're expected to pick their life
up again, and they can see for themselves what a worthless effort Iraq
was. Many of them are just so bitter, and it really sucks talking to
them.

On the morning of 9/11, no one knew what would be the extent of the

So to get you off that canard, I posted a different article which you
ignored. Or is this the article you think I don't understand?
BBC Headline: NHS rationing rife, say doctors
[excerpt] Rationing of NHS treatments is becoming more widespread, a
survey of GPs and hospital doctors suggests.
Doctor magazine asked readers about rationing. Of 653 answering
questions on consequences, 107 - 16% - said patients had died early as
a result.
More than half - 349 - said patients had suffered as a result. This
compared with one in five in a similar survey conducted nine years
ago.
The government said decisions had to be made on which treatments to
provide. [end excerpt]

Yes, so have I. That particularly happened during the Clinton
administration, when they were downsizing the military after the end
of the Cold War. As for me, I was out of the military long before
Clinton became president. And I could still wear the uniform other
than the fact I was beyond the age of eligibility on 9/11.
