Wow -- hope this isn't politically motivated.
It would seem treasonous to politicize a nation's defence.
Cheers!

When angry Democrats briefly shut down the Senate last year to protest
the slow pace of a congressional investigation into prewar intelligence
on Iraq, Senate Minority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) claimed a rare
victory.
Republicans called it a stunt but promised to quickly wrap up the
inquiry. Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.), chairman of the Senate Select
Committee on Intelligence, which is overseeing the investigation, said
his report was near completion and there was no need for the fuss.
That was nine months ago.

It would be instructive to see an analysis of what intelligence was gathered
and when it was gathered.
Analysis of intelligence gathered prior to 9/11 was interpreted by the Bush
Administration as showing that Saddam was no threat, had no serious wmd
programs.
The world should be able to see what information altered their assessments
and why a new spin may have been put on old information.

The world should be able to see what information altered their assessments

Or, for that matter, why old information was obviously disregarded and
ignored.
