excited. I wouldn't judge a man's marksmanship until I'd stood in his shoes
in the same situation. I wouldn't judge his tactics until I'd seen the
effects of the bombings.
These are methods gleaned from the Israelis. They've been fighting suicide
bombers a lot longer than James Bond.

Navy SEALS use 9mm. Two in the chest and one in the head usually does the trick. Not my cup of tea.
Anti-terrorist Delta guys are easy to spot. Just shake hands with one. Trigger finger and area
inside the thumb joint are both heavily calloused from firing thousands of rounds from their .45
para-pistols. One in the upper chest or forehead does nicely.
Seriously, the Brits fucked the goose on this one. Lipstick on a pig? Yep.

Actually, I thought "bobbies" was a term for local police. I just
assumed that Scotland Yard would have some other nomer for their officers.
So, they're no longer friendly, uniformed, or 'assistants' (or any of
the above)?
I'm assuming you know lots more about US type law enforcement officials,
thanks to Hollyweird (FBI, State Troopers, Sheriffs, local police, etc).

concerning the various US Police departments depicted on television
with a very large pinch of salt.
The old fashioned image has long gone...a little like red telephone
boxes. Every Police Force has a headquarters. Scotland Yard is the
headquarters of the Metropolitan (London) Police.

inflammatory word, 'Copper'.
I should have added that only the opponents of the Police, the criminal
fraternity use it.
Sadly, the halo above the UK Police has slipped. There is not the best
of relationships between Police and public these days. Oddly enough, I
found your US Police more easy going and friendly than are the UK
Police.

Hmm, my brother in law who lives in London holds the police in high regard.
Oddly enough, I found your US Police more easy going and friendly than are the >UK Police.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a law follower. I like the police. Unfortunetly a few bad apples spoil the
whole crop. Cops are always held to a higher standard.......and most in uniform agree they should
be.
