Partial solar eclipse on Friday
Wednesday, April 6, 2005 Posted: 12:58 PM EDT (1658 GMT)
The partial eclipse will be visible from the U.S. south of a line
extending across the nation from southern California to central New
Jersey.
Extreme care must be taken when watching a solar eclipse. Staring
directly at the sun during an eclipse can cause permanent eye damage.
Never look directly at the sun with the naked eye or through any
optical device (e.g. -- camera, binoculars or telescope).
Use a solar filter designed specifically for sun viewing or use the
pinhole projection method to safely watch the eclipse.

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Sky-watchers from the South Pacific to
the Americas will witness the first solar eclipse of 2005 on Friday
when the moon blots out part of the sun.
It will be a partial eclipse rather than a total one, in which the
Earth is cast into darkness. But it will be the last partial solar
eclipse visible from the continental United States until May 20, 2012.
Solar eclipses occur when the Earth, sun and moon line up in such a
way that the moon casts a shadow over Earth.
Friday's eclipse will last from a few minutes to over an hour,
depending on one's location. In much of the continental United States,
people will see what looks like the moon taking a bite out of the sun,
with the bite bigger over the South.
In Central America and the northern portion of South America, the sun
will be reduced to a narrow ring of fire.
Astronomers warned people not to stare directly at the sun without eye
protection.
"It's neat to see the moon take a bite of the sun," said Tom Fleming,
an astronomer at the Steward Observatory at the University of Arizona
in Tucson. "Each eclipse is different because I remember who I was
with and where I was when I was watching it."
The path of the eclipse will stretch about 14,160 kilometers (8,800
miles) through a corridor beginning near New Zealand and extending
across the Americas.
For a while, the sun will be blotted out completely as the eclipse
moves across the open Pacific, but it will be visible only to people
at sea.
The next solar eclipse will be October 3, crossing the Iberian
Peninsula to Africa.

Partial is better than none.
All things living and non are
effected by the sun.
It's still all cosmic magic in
the minds of the scientific
elite.

It may be a Partial eclipse on the continent, but out in the deep blue
yonder of the Pacific ocean, the eclipse is Total.

I have heard that the total eclipse as seen by the musslim countries of central and
western Asia while be a sign from ALA to start the GREAT jihaad.
But, i also wonder if they are as desperate as the Isrealies for any type of sign. -
as they have both been waiting a long time for some type of sign of the return of
their 'deliverance' !!!
Makes me wonder, who's GOD will show up first ?

That's easy, the savior of the Musilms will show up first, the great
Mahdi as they call him, who will in fact be the Antichrist.

Well i can't argue the fact that the Musslim based countries of eastern asia will see
a total eclipse instead of the americas.
But, i will disagree that this will be taken as a sign from ALA to commence the GREAT
JIHAD.
Only because modern day MUSSLIMs ignore celestial signs as meaning anything. (ALA
would be dis-pleased, as ALA based all of his conquests on celestial signs from GOD.)
But, it just goes to show you how modern day musslims are no different than modern day
christians (avoid confrontation when ever possible) - and this should be a GOOD THING!
Because Believing is Believing (but its not my job to preach, so i will let you all be
the judge on this observation).
But, it has made me wonder if extremes have their own alterior motive for what they do
!
Or are the just afraid that it will start WWIII as predicted by NostyDAMus.
