That doesn't make sense. If outlook express is crashing on your computer,
then it has nothing to do with people "tracking your posts" via google.
Google, and programs on your computer, are neither related in any way or
affected by each other.

Aiden is right, unless there is some dark technical subterfuge afoot.
Anyway, I for one never use google to examine anything. It's not what a
person has said years ago that is of consequence...It is the issue in
hand at the moment that is the question.
Anything 'quoted' from years past is of no value, always taken out of
context, and invariably missing the messages that led to the post.
False impressions are given.
I treat the forum as I would a cafe. Conversation with no re-course to
previous disputes or statements. They only confuse the issue being
discussed.

You've had problems for awhile. Have you checked thoroughly for
viruses/ spyware? I had a piece of spyware that fucked things up
completely. At first, it took 2 or 3 tries to get to a website;
eventually couldn't get on at all. The problem was my son using Kazaa
or some such file-sharing program to download music and I was not
scanning for viruses often enough.
Once I cleaned things up and outlawed the file sharing, I've had no
problems since.

Shrieeeeek! Malware is a better term Jane! That thing is filled with
nasty bits. In fact, if anything is 'free', then the chance of being
stuffed full of spy/malware is very high.
Even the 'Clean your computer' programmes download nasty things into
your system, then find them and tell you to buy the product.
I agree 100% with you. Check for all spyware and associated nasty
things.

Oh I wouldn't say that.. I reckon most shareware is clean.
Even the 'Clean your computer' programmes download nasty things into
your system,
I've always assumed that's pretty much ALL they did!

Better still, ditch Internet Exploder and get Firefox (for example) and as
many other non-MS products as you can for your internet/mail/usenet access.

Tw is right when he trusts shareware programmes, but I've found Kazaa a
constant source of virus infection. WinMix is better I think.
E Mule is very useful for obtaining programmes and keys, but always
have Nortons running, and always do a double check before opening any
file.
For adware, then Lavasoft professional is the best one I've come

As with anti-virus software, no one anti-spyware program is adequate.
A VERY good choice to start with, is Spyware Blaster.
It prevents things from installing, saving LOTS of problems
before they become a problem. AND it's FREEWARE!
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/
And CounterSpy from www.sunbeltsoftware.com is also highly rated.
And for the person with some knowledge, HiJackThis
(www.spywareinfo.com) is also good, and free.

careful with limewire... there's a few clients for it that are encrusted

Limewire is full of malware. WinMX was pretty good, but it's gone now.
BitTorrent is best, but good luck finding a list of files.

Get a real newsreader. Google has nothing to do with your computer
crashing, you probably got a virus (or two or three) from using Outlook.
IOW, it's your computer, not the servers hosting Google.
