Object: Quake swarm, Inperial County, Ca.
Since 8:35 am today, there have been 14 quakes of 3+,
5 that topped 4.0, and the largest was 4.5 magnitude,
about 26 miles north of El Centro, along the southeast
edge of the Salton Sea.
There were several quakes in the same area in the few
days before this swarm.
Swarms such as this HAVE preceded some major quakes
in this area in the past.

Disasters comes in waves. Next -- large earthquakes in Southern and
Northern
California. Then Yellowstone could erupt also. The possibilities are
almost endless. The terrorist need do nothing more to the USA. It
seems Mother
Nature is doing things now. And, then there's another storm that
could turn
into another large hurricane that could slam into the East coast
somewhere.

Gas is pushing $4 a gallon here in California - earthquakes are
occuring,
people are dead and floating in the streets of New Orleans with sharks,
armed looters, aligators, hungry packs of dogs sick people in hospitals
dying of
diseases that are soon going to hit the entire South of America and
our
beloved King Dubya is trying to figure out what to do as he circles
about
in his great big Air Force One jet looking at things out of its
windows. There
are no HOOROS here now nor for some time to come Uncle Wally. I'm
having
chest pains and pains in my left arm froma series of stress induced
heart problems
and who knows what else is in store for the USA and where. 25% of out
gasoline is gone as a result of the hurriicane - ***** it - if I survive
thes e mini heart attacks
I'm cutting myself off of all communication. It to fucking stressful
to deal with it all.

Thanks for the info, Bud. I only get notifications of quakes above 4.5
or so. Does the San Andreas go through there? Any chance that a ground
shift (read: drop) of a yard or so in the "proper" location would
result in the Gulf of California filling in the area? (Hard to tell
from maps whether that's any kind of possibility).

Pity that Nostradamus did not predict California earthquakes,
otherwise your original post (a very rare occurrence in this
NewsGroup) might have been on topic.
*
After a few San Diego fires and earthquakes, it might be wise to
consider moving further East. ===> New Orleans comes to mind.

Have a nice day, folks!
