That would require counting, and Steven doen't have enough fingures, so you
won't get an answer Doc.

He'll only answer with a question, Doc. Brick walls do that a lot.
Secretly he craves the extinction of the 'Heathen' Musselmen.
I rather fancy he also craves the exinction of a Doctor and a Wolf

If there is a God, he brings each and every one of us into a circumstance
here to promote our spiritual development.
The Earth is not a place to banish wars, but to experience spiritual growth.
Wars don't matter that much, because in the end you are going to die anyhow.
When you realize you don't have much of a choice over death, there is no
need to attach yourself to the outcome of things on this planet.

I have to agree. We are opposites combined which give us this fleshy
being we inhabit. If we were negative or just positive, then we would
not be in human form. Basic science already states this. If one wants
utopia, they are gunna hafta get rid of that flesh.

I propose an experiment whereas you kill yourself, or we kill you (your
option), and then when we die later, we can confirm or not confirm that
you've transcended flesh and blood and are existing in an ethereal utopia.

While that would be nice, what I meant was that I don't think God has
anything to do with wars, and he's probably thoroughly horrified
and disgusted with wars. That's mankind's way of solving problems (by NOT
solving them), I don't think that's God's way, although mankind has sure
made use of His non-interference mode to put a whole lot of (their) words
into His mouth.

I think people would stop fighting wars if we somehow discover that there is
only one 'true' philosophy or truth. Currently we all believe in all kinds
of different things. But if everyone believed in exactly the same thing,
then there are no reasons to disagree with anything. I don't know how that
could ever come about, but it's probably possible. If science came up with
an answer that is clearly obvious to all and we all can see. That could be
an answer. But even the truth would be a hard sell to someone like Steven I
think.

I'd think that either enough bloodletting, fear, and hate would eventually
satiate our desire for violence to 'solve our problems', or God would
finally relieve us of war because we reached a maximum allowable limit he
set.
The limit would be set when so little life would be left that it threatens
all his creation.
And, of course, none of this makes any real 'sense' considering that a God
that creates life, passes along a doctrine of respecting and preserving
it and being punished if we don't, would let humanity destroy so much of
themselves and animal life, or engage in destroying life himself, as he
did in the Old Testament. Presumably, God allows even today huge amounts
of life to be wasted for greed, power, etc.
Either our general concept of a loving God is badly askew because possibly
something's missing in our historical background data, or we've been lied
to.

Wasn't there a war in 'Heaven'? Don't angels often carry swords? On

My understanding of the Babble is that a war will occur between the forces
of the Devil and God's angels in the heavens above earth, while the
antichrist's armies battle the 'good armies' of Israel and all her
supporters.
Yes, the Bibble talks about a war in heaven.
Well, yes, God seemed to favor warfare in the Old Testament, applying the
process of mass murder himself, and directing human hosts to do it for
him...all apparently to get rid of evil that threatened his 'Chosen
People.'
Then, strangely, God became a pacifist after Jesus appeared, and there was
much chatter about being against violence of any kind. Apparently, a more
peace-loving God doesn't sit well with Stevie, prompting him to speculate
that the swords Jesus wanted his followers to obtain, is evidence that
Jesus wasn't totally against violence or murder. Yet, the Booble tells us
that 'violence begets violence' ... and the famous 'turn the other cheek'
remark.... and so forth.
Did God learn something from his own behaviour back then? LOL!

I think mankind has a (mental) problem thinking in terms of "conquering"
anything without it involving lots of gore. I see no reason why God would
need armies, wars, or weaponry of any kind. Nor would the angels. They
aren't even corporeal beings.
