Sometime back in the past "dustbird" posted this interpretation of
Quatrain 9.44
Migrate, migrate from Geneva, all of you
Saturn of gold will change to iron
The counter-raypoz will exterminate all
Before the event, there will be signs in the
sky.
He speculated this might refer future-wise to a super-colliding particle
accelerator at Geneva. The second line might refer to a ring accelerator
around Geneva. This idea has been independently updated, so to speak, by
James Blodgett at http://www.risk-evaluation-forum.org. He proposes that the
physics experiment proposed for the Large Ion Collider at CERN in 2007 may
produce mini-black holes that could destroy the Earth. The black holes are
supposed to evaporate by Hawkings radiation, but noone knows if Hawkings
radiation exists. Perhaps these mini-black holes are the same as what Jack
Sarfatti calls "microsingularities." In his post May 2, 2004 on alt.
ufo.reports, Subject: "Hitler & KGB's Time Machines," he says these may be
produced by Cern's "big machine." If the world did end in 2007, then most of
Nostradamus' prophecies would probably go unfulfilled, so if this quatrain
does refer to CERN, then more likely some sort of harmful radiation would be

But, on the other hand, Peter Lemusier's post of Feb 14, 2003, translates
the quatrain into modern French as:
"Flee! Flee Geneva, each and every one!

Before he comes shall signs the sky derange."
Peter thinks Nostradamus was "wrongly anticipating an eventual attack by
the Emperor Charles V on the Protestant enclave at Geneva." The second line
would simply mean that a time of general bliss would change to a time of
general disaster. Raypoz is an anagram for Zopyra, and Zopyra or Zopyro was
"a pesudonym chosen by Charles V for one of his heraldic devices, after the
name of an ancient Persian hero."
I think Peter's interpretation is more plausible, although I wouldn't
entirely rule out the CERN one, at least not until 2007. But another thought
that occurs to me is that Zopyra, if an anagram of Raypoz, may refer to a
Persian warlord, and this would be consistent with the idea, promoted by
Lemusier in various of his books, that many of Nostradamu's quatrains refer
to a coming Muslim attack on Europe, especially affecting France, which
would probably be Nostradamus' main 'prophetic concern.' Although the dates
deduced from Nostradamus for such an invasion seem to have passed, still the
trend of Muslim emigration into various countries of Europe, even including
Ireland, is not inconsistent with such a thought.
My own thought is that if such an islamic european jihad develops, it
might be a punishment for the Holocaust. It seems peculiar that after the
brutal mistreatment and severe population reduction of the Jews in Germany,
Poland, and other countries, that a European Union should emerge, with
Germany as a major player, almost as if to say that Europe is doing better
(if not morally) without the Jews. I am not too familiar with the European
Union, European geography, nor muslim immigration statistics, but is the
European headquarters in Brussels, Belgium? That's not far from France, if
that means anything. However, if a muslim movement emerges to take over
European states by immigrations, and perhaps by foreign invasions, takes
place, then the christians and secular governments would be challenged much
as the christians and secular governments challenged the jews of Europe. The
Nazis were clearly a product of christian antisemitism in Europe, and Hitler
also created special muslim death-squads to kill jews, and
had a special relationship with Haj Amin al-Husseini, a paid Nazi agent, who
exported ideals of Nazi genocide into the post-war Middle East.
However, the idea of a muslim uprising and invasion in Europe as a
punishment for centuries of European christian antisemitism does not seem
consistent with Nostradamus' prophecies since, although France is supposed
to suffer heavily, Germany, to my smzall and fragmentary knowledge of
Nostradamus' quatrains, is hardly mentioned.

I believe Raypoz is an Anagram for Roy Paz, Prince of Peace. Therefore,
"le contre Raypoz" would mean "the Antichrist". Gen�ve, might be in
reference to the Geneva Convention.

Firstly I am not a scientist so I speak from speculation. From what I
understand of the nature of black holes, they are formed by a
collapsed star and they are called black holes because the
gravitational pull of these objects is so great that not even light
can escape from them. So, to create a black hole anywhere in the
vicinity of our solar system would simply suck everything we know into
the size of maybe a pea or even smaller. That would be pretty
disastrous don't you think?
From what I understand of the theory of time travel the "black hole"
that is created to warp the time-space continuum is more a lesion or
tear. Since no-one (to my knowledge) has achieved this then the
results are unpredictable. Can this lesion be closed ? Perhaps the
lesion doesn't cater to time travel, but simply allows a short cut
through space. If this is the case then maybe Geneva will suddenly
disappear from earth and show up somewhere else in the universe.
As I said, just speculation but I wouldn't want to be there if it
happens, not to mention the effects on earth from the sudden loss of
billions of tons of matter. and who knows the gate might swing both
ways and we could end up with aliens wondering where the hell they are
and how the hell they got here.
Imagination is such a wonderful story teller.

That's a good point, if I take it correctly. Peter wrote that in
Nostradamus' own time, the Muslims were invading Europe. As well, there were
other writings that seem to prophesy an Arab or Muslim invasion. Maybe they
were the equivalent of modern novels. But I am not sure if Nostradamus drew
on them, or they drew on Nostradamus.
But I had another thought. Instead of the modern Muslims striving to turn
europe into theocratic state(s) or declaring a jihad on Europe for whatever
reason - it seems a bit peculiar that they would be diverted from their
pathological emnity toward Israel, although the degraradation and
humiliation of the non-Muslim world is their religious goal - perhaps they
would offer positive and negative incentives for European states to support
a political and military campaign against Israel. Then both the Muslim world
and the European world could howl together.
It is not inconceivable although it seems very implausible that the whole
statified world could be persuaded to turn upon Israel in exchange for a
conditional end to terrorism, and ths could account for various jewish
prophecies that all nations would be gathered against them, although the
reference might be just to surrounding nations.
And as for Peter, I haven't seen his posts lately.

compelled to fight Christians or Jews to the death, until they submit to

Israel is nothing, a grain of sand, compared to the rest of the civilized world
they will destroy based on that principle. Israel will be welcomed one day, they
are semites too. The quatrain 8,96 is about Israel being welcomed by the
Muslims. It hasn't happened yet. Maybe the Passion of Christ will help them
understand that the Jews owned the place before them, who knows.
But the rest of the world, not so. In 20 years it will happen.

And as for Peter, I haven't seen his posts lately.

Peter doesn't post here anymore. Not that there are too many people who are
unrelated here, he had a big plonk box, but he was debunked to the bone in all
his outraged theories in public, in front of the whole world, so he took the
group we made to protect him from the likes of Alef, and with tricks insured
only those who kiss his sorry ***** remained there so they wallow with his
theories about Nostradamus being a fraud who stole stuff from past prophets. I
am sure he won't come back unless he start ripping off stuff from real exegetes
who say the prophecies are about the future because his denial of his shame
concerning Nostradamus is not for public display. But who knows, maybe he has none.

probable is that they will be so infuriorated by the humiliations the
Americans are perpetrating that they may simply mobilize by the millions and
push the occupying forces out by their sheer number. Nostradamus wrote:
