40 Reported Killed in Fallujah Mosque

Apr 7, 9:20 AM (ET)

By BASSEM MROUE

(AP) Sunni insurgents guard the streets of Fallujah, Iraq, 65 kms west of
Baghdad, Wednesday April 7...

FALLUJAH, Iraq (AP) - U.S. forces battling Sunni insurgents in this violent
city apparently hit a mosque filled with people Wednesday, and witnesses said
as many as 40 people were killed.

Ya know, if you're gonna hit a mosque, wouldn't it make more sense to hit the
mosque with the troublemaker sitting inside? (Not that it's a good thing to hit
a mosque, but I think it's pretty clear we've got a full-fledged revolution on
our hands ...so it probably won't make any difference)

Uh, there were many trouble makers inside, and they were firing RPG's and
automatic weapons at our troops.

Not from the Mosque they weren't. The forty or so killed were worshippers.
Just because WND says that they were fighters doesn't mean it's the truth.

Any Mosque that is used for military purposes is a reasonable target. Good to see the glove are
coming off in Fallujah. 10 Americans killed vs 500 Iraqis dead and 1000 wounded. Helluva kill ratio.
A little more mopping up and the town will fall. Before this ***** is all over we'll be protecting
the Sunnis from the Shiites. Wait and see.

You don't think we'd be better off checkmating the king than spending time on
the pawns? Then I guess we disagree. (Not that they shouldn't return fire, but
hey - like I said, if you're gonna hit a mosque, go after the big trouble

You don't think we'd be better off checkmating the king than spending time on
the pawns?

It is important to blow up the kings, like with that Hammasshole funding leader
who promoted murders.
You see, Woods, if anyone is idiot enough to follow their stupid lead, they also
deserve to be emulsified before they hurt innocents. They are terrorists if they
follow, but yes, you show the importance of getting the inciters, You justify
the assassination of the hamass leadership as well as the Sadr leadership, if
only in case some are just plain idiot that will follow blindly, so as to stop
kiling the followers who wouldn't do anything otherwise.
Sadr is going to be dealt with. But the mess he has created has to be cleaned...
500 who attacked and were exploded last week? He is partly responsible, but they
still did the deed. They are as responsible for listening to the *****.
The pawns, under his guidance, attack their own populations and liberators.
Their real enemies are Saddam's supporters, not those who allowed them freedom
of cult and expression.

Then I guess we disagree.

You bet your err... whatever, you bet!

(Not that they shouldn't return fire, but
hey - like I said, if you're gonna hit a mosque, go after the big trouble
maker).

Woods

They are simply going after the origin of missile fire, wherever it is.
And they will always do that.
If Sadr was any truly religious, he would ensure the mosque are not used for
attack. he is clearly an abuser of his religion besides being an abuser of his
people.

Bah, anyone using mosques to launch attack is making the mosque a legitimate
target. This is an unavoidable absolute certainty.
Bad policy for true Moslems. They should hate those who do that because they
know that those who use it for attack are the sole responsible for what happens
to the mosque just as if they would blow it up themselves.
Whomever in the community who allows it to happen is their own responsibility.
There is no safe heaven anywhere when a place is used for attack, this is also a
geneva convention rule of war.
The Muslims never respect the rule of war and they should not be surprised to
pay the price. They better educate their ignorant collective asses before they
support terrorists.

WEell, they have to address the immediate threat. This is the rules of
engagement. This doesn't change.
But they are going after that guy, he is will be rolled over by a tank if he
resists as soon as they find him. As soons as he gets back from wherever he is
celebrating some religious feast right now...
