Sorry for top-posting, but I find all this Min v. Jean stuff terribly
distracting, but I DO want to post to this thread.
Now to the thing:
Nearly three years ago, on October 12th, 2001 as I recall, I posted to
this newsgroup an interesting if not implausible story about my wife
and how she awoke the morning of August 28th, 2001 and shouted
"they're cutting down the tower!" This occurred two weeks before
"they" actually did. Anyway, if you are interested, you can look it up
in the archives.
Then shortly before the Columbia Shuttle disaster in 2003, my wife
awoke in the middle of the night and turned her head around and up
towards the southeast sky and said something like "they're all falling
down", and I watched this and thought to myself that there was
something significant in 'where' she is looking. Soon enough, the
Columbia came down over central and eastern Texas and western
Louisiana, which is southeast of where we live (Colorado). I wrote
about this as well in this newsgroup shortly after the Columbia
disaster. If interested, again check the archives.
I also promised at that time that I would post to this newsgroup if my
wife had any more of these creepy experiences.
Well, she did about 10 days ago. I was up reading at about 1 in the AM
when I heard her shout in the bedroom. I went in and she was sitting
up. I asked her if she was okay. She asked me if I had said anything
to her. I said I hadn't. She said someone had just spoken clearly to
her and said to her, "They're aiming for the seventh." That's it.

Hey John,
I was once or twice a regular here until a few key regulars left and
the trolls and rude boys redoubled their efforts. Too many OT posts
around these parts, although it's true that the topic spectrum at APN
is legitimately a bit broader than just Nostradamus.
I still check in from time to time, take a measure of the troll and
flame content, which is currently about 85%, and look to see if Cesar
is back for another round.
As for my wife, if her visions are legit, they are just to remind me
that God has a Purpose. What it is ain't for any of us to know. There
is no Knowing, only Believing.

I just prayed, as I always have, for a peek inside The Plan. Here is
something I posted to APN in late October 2001:
"I think these kind of dreams are only intended for the dreamers
themselves--to remind them that there is something out there, and that
we should be sensitive to the possibilities--but always with reason as
our guide. When we have dreams like the kind you shared with us, or
like the kind my wife and I shared, we are probably helpless to do
anything about it beyond modifying our own behavior, because, face it,
anyone trying to affect society based on a dream is a nut and a damned

Of course, don't tell that to Martin Luther King..."
I still stand by those words.

Hey, I'm guessing as much as the next fool. But all the evidence I've

suggests that any spiritual component to this existence cannot be

And, yes, I have encountered objective, scientific evidence that

Yes, I was here, I know of whom you speak, and he was a certifiable

if purely coincidental, regrettable, and laughable. My very first post

Got nothing to hide, though I suppose I'll have to go to hell and back

this is a date?
It was my assumption. The use of the words "the seventh", while they
could have many meanings of course, leapt out in my mind as a date.
She has had three of these experiences so far. "They're cutting down
the tower", "They're all falling down", and "They're aiming for the
seventh", have all been simple phrases. The first two turned out to be
very straightforward, yet slightly lyrical and horrific, descriptions
for the tragedies that occurred. I see no reason for complicating the
meaning of "the seventh" other than the fact that this phrase appears
to be less vague -- pre-disaster interpretation-wise -- than the first
two. If we are not intended to know or accurately speculate beforehand
what disaster is being foretold, then, I suppose, "the seventh" could
indeed be some clever reference to something else. The other part of
the phrase, "they're aiming", suggests to us that the result will be
done with intent and perhaps with malice, since "aiming" has its own
set of negative meanings.
One final OT thought: My wife brought up the subject last week of both
of us going to consult with a psychic. That was quite unusual for her
because in 20-some years of marriage, we have never done such a thing,
or even entertained the idea. And second, my wife is an avowed
athiest. I, of course, am not. Perhaps these "prophetic visions" are
compelling her to confront her spiritual dimensions?

to APN was on 13 October 2001, but I had been lurking since before
then.
If anyone, why not a nutcase?
You should (rightly I suppose) expect a knock at
the door if a significant "homeland" incident transpires at the
mentioned time.
Got nothing to hide, though I suppose I'll have to go to hell and back
to prove it to Ashcroft's Warriors for Christ. Should I line up legal
council now?
That would probably count against you.
That aside, I note your date is a Tuesday, as was 9/11
Hmmmm. Didn't realize that until now. That kinda sucks.
-- and bearing
in mind that the "message" mentioned an aspirational date (with
possible anniversary considerations), I'd be holding my breath until
after the 14th.
As far as I'm concerned, it's the 7th or nothing. No credit if it's
the 6th or 8th... or 14th. And if it is the 7th, I suppose I shouldn't
hang around in Colorado, and wait for the Men in Black, huh?
I wouldn't be so fussy. "Aiming for" implies a certain uncertainty.
14th.

I think that's interesting... I had a similar experience last month; I
was on the verge of sleep and saw some pictures in my head, one I
don't remember too clearly, but the other was a picture of a stone
bowl with runes around it's edge, breaking in half. I sleepily said
soemthing to my S.O. "There's going to be an earthquake" he of
course, laughed at me and asked all kinds of questions; I just kind of
shrugged and said, I don't know why or where, I just know that's what
I feel. Then I fell asleep and promptly forgot about it. Imagine my
surprise the following morning as I was driving into work and heard
the newscaster mention that there had been an earthquake in Athens,
Greece that morning. I was about to pick up the phone and call my
S.O., but he was listening to the same program and called me first.
I haven't had any more premonitions since that one, though I have had
a few in the past (though not for several years) -- but those all had
to do with me personally, not anything that had to do with current
events or anything like that. Strange, eh? I'll be watching for the
'Seventh' whatever that is... Give your wife my regards.

Now, we’re into the single digits of the unstoppable countdown to
September 2, 2004…
It’s clear that many of you are still in denial, since you obviously
don’t take Al-Qaeda’s quote “next 9/11” threat at all seriously.
Underestimating ones enemy is an inexpiable mistake that only a
loathsomely-ignorant fool with blinders on would make—so what’s that
make YOU? You’re either a drug-addicted moron, or you’re an Al-Qaeda
supporter and you harbor a murderously-vitriolic Anti-American agenda.
So which is it? I strongly suspect it’s the latter…
I think he (?) is not underestimating the Muslim fanatics serial killers
assholes, but questioning your calendar. Your deadline is not based on
anything but your "intuition", right?
Did AlQaeda ever say they would strike on Sept 2nd? If so, when, where?
J.
Fortunately, every agency of local, city, state and federal government
nationwide is taking Al-Qaeda’s menacing warnings at face-value:
because September 11th, 2001 proved to the world
that Al-Qaeda’s threats are deadly serious, and the USA must deal with
their latest nuclear and chemical (and biological?) threats just as
proactively as we possibly can, in an extremely-well coordinated
and concerted effort to minimize the horrifying potential for millions
of casualties, trillions in property damage, and the logical conclusion
that such an attack would compromise and severely undermine the entire
economy not only of the USA, but of the whole world too, since all
nations would suffer egregiously as a result of her fall. Indeed, the
merchants of the Earth would wail from afar off seeing her incineration
(i.e. NYC, DC, et al high-profile targets of these genocidal Al-Qaeda
madmen who hate us more than Hitler hated the Jews).
Even with all that’s going on in the real world, there’re still large
numbers of wishful-thinking, laissez faire, Pollyannaish cowards with
their heads planted firmly in the sand who just can’t seem to grasp
the frightfully-grievous situation that we’re all in. In fact, the whole
world is in the same boat that the USA is in against Al-Qaeda, because
they’ll be swimming through the same raging waters of the post-nuclear
holocaust as the rest of us will be, should Al-Qaeda’s “NEXT 9/11”
threat come to terrifying fruition against these great United States of
America.
Frankly, I view those disinformation agents who recklessly mock the
Al-Qaeda threat against America as wartime traitors who’re plainly
aiding and abetting Al-Qaeda by encouraging their unwary readership to
simply ignore Al-Qaeda’s warnings and pretend that they do not pose a
clear and present danger to US National Security. Truly, I’d have you
treasonous bastards shot! If Al-Qaeda hits us as hard as they’ve
promised to do, and as soon as they’ve promised to do it, then America
will be put under martial law, and those who’ve aided and abetted
Al-Qaeda will be apprehended and sent off for aggressive interrogation
and summary execution. I wouldn’t give a plug nickel for the lives of
those who’ve tried to “play down” the Al-Qaeda threat in the wake of
nuclear and chemical strikes against major targets here in the
continental United States.
REMEMBER, everything you’ve ever posted via email, usenet newsgroups or
on websites is a matter of government record. Our US Government knows
exactly what you’ve posted, exactly when you posted it and exactly where
you posted it from. Your complete dossier is on file with the FBI, CIA,
NSA, HLS, and other US law-enforcement and intelligence agencies who’ve
red-flagged you because of your patently nefarious on-line activities
which clearly lend support to Al-Qaeda, by your repeated and scurrilous
attempts to “play down” the real Al-Qaeda threat.
Made in America,
Daniel Joseph Min

Jean,
Of course you are right. Both previous times, I had no clue what she
might have been referring to. How could I? The words were so vague,
and only made some sense afterwards. As for this new event, "They're
aiming for the seventh", my interpretation is also that something
terrible will happen on September 7th as her two previous prophetic
visions were about the two most traumatic events for the U.S. in the
past three years, and both visions occurred only weeks before those
terrible tragedies. Also, curiously, all three times she has used the
contraction "they're".
Finally, since I posted to this newsgroup only after 9/11 and the
Columbia Shuttle tragedies, I certainly knew how skeptical others
would be towards my claims. Just wanted to get this on the record,
piggybacking on Min's "9 Days & Counting" thread. Except in the case
of my wife's vision, it's 13 days and counting...

Stay clear of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel on the 7th.
It is scary enough on any other day.
