War III has already started. Yep. The BIG one. Remember when that cruise
missle was launched from the deck of the ship along with much pomp,
circumstance and fan fare? You must remember -- they showed it over and over
and over on CNN -- Fox too for that matter. That was it. Really. WWIII.
So dude, your "Clark nearly started WWIII" fear mongering is a bit dated.
It's done. Now we need a real General who can handle this mess. Get the
amateurs out of the Whitehouse and put someone in who can deal with it
effectively. Now... Before the picture starts getting a whole lot
clearer...

Walter I understand and share your sentiment. When Powell appeared at the
UN and presented the case for war against Iraq, I was convinced that there
was much more info available that he just couldn't disclose in that forum.
I know when Ronald Reagan and other presidents said that we had intelligence
concerning a thing you could pretty much carve it in stone. That is really
and truly what I thought the result would be in Iraq. Provable, definite
links to Al Queda and Nuclear missile programs. To learn later of the
intentional designs to mislead us was, frankly, beyond my belief. Then,
when I read about PNAC and a few other things... Well, I really believe that
the people of this country have been duped into a war that by all rights
should not have happened. Blood for oil in short. I apologize for my
opinion. I know it is very hurtful to many and my most fervent prayer is
that I am wrong. -Jim
