I love it! They, the Anti-Christ Liberals, really can't help
themselves. All Liberals can do is watch their "poll" numbers.
Meanwhile, We ruling *Republicans* shall deliver Liberals yet
another CRUSHING defeat in the wake of the mid-term elections. :)
Enjoy Life! (and help send the Anti-American Liberals to Hell!)

It's probably too late to instigate a three or four party election; but
the Democrats aren't the ones busy screwing the bottom 90% of American
workers, and the budgets had a surplus the last time they held offiice.
The Repugnicant government got a failing grade on national security and
ignored the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission. Iraq and Afghanistan
are killing grounds, with no real end in sight. And Bush wants to invade
Iran. All they have left is the fear button, "bin Laden is Hitler"...and
it just ain't playing in Peoria.

I'd be the last person in this group to support much of anything this
current "Republican" party stands for.
If a change is required I'd only hope that the Democrats are 1) competent
and courageous enough to do what it takes to win the election and are 2)
competent and courageous enough to make the changes that are required to
preserve, protect and defend this republic once they acquire power. I'm not
sold on either possibility.
I think the Democrats are sell-outs too. I think the two party system is an

Oh, good. I wasn't sure. One of my pet peeves is how often the 'right'
deflects criticism by finger-pointing to the 'left'...

If a change is required

"If"? How many more to be maimed or killed?

I'd only hope that the Democrats are 1) competent and courageous enough to
do what it takes to win the election and are 2) competent and courageous

defend this republic once they acquire power. I'm not sold on either

The mood is definitely there for a change...although I'm dubious about
the voting process. As for defence, if Iraq weren't diverting serious
funds you could afford to inspect the cargo on planes and boats...just
for starters.

I think the Democrats are sell-outs too. I think the two party system is an
elitist scam. They're owned by the same interests, they just haven't been

Heh! That's teh BushCo in a shell. Their interests have diverged enough
to make a difference. It's not really the lack of parties that's the
problem here; it's the President's total lack of accountability. Where I
live, there are 15 registered parties, but only 2 usually form the bulk
of the government and oppostion.
And there is opposition. Bush only takes "questions" from pre-screened
sycophants, whereas debate and opposition are necessary for democracy.
Shutting those out and circumventing the laws that you're supposed to
uphold are the actions of a Dictator, or a King.
As you said, virulent, aggressive, imperialist scum.
I'm waiting for their "President for Life" plan.

Next war maybe.

In the meantime, all the ones you have now just get bigger.
At what human cost?

Yup, throw the bums in prison. :-) Then ban political contributions from
corporations. Make it illegal for retired military personnel to take jobs
in the defense industry. Reinstate and increase estate taxes on estates
worth more than $2 million.

Reinstate taxes on the top 10%. Ban no-bid military contracts. Scrap
that 'every kid left behind' thingy. Cut the CO2 out of the atmoshere.

Break up the big drug, oil and communications companies.

Or at least contain them...

Found a colony in Northern Alaska for the few guiltless yet unrepentant

Um. No gulags, thanks.

We can hope that Congressional resistance catches on like a wildfire. If it
looks like Bush's poll numbers are going to cost them seats in the election
lets see if this turns into a gargantuan blaze and the rats start running

A lot of them *are* running.

We would hope that our democratic institutions (the media and Congress)
wouldn't be impaired in their duty by any president's popularity. We would
also hope that are democratic institutions haven't been bought out by
"special interests".

They've been bought out by something. There are no checks on executive
powers. The US is just about to legalize torture and write off the Great
Writ of 1215 that said people can't be jailed without question. The
preznit has granted himself the ability to 'legally' detain any
foreigner without trial, and with 'techniiques' from the Spanish
Inquisition. Please to complain here: 866 808 0065 Toll Free
Enough already.

And in time we find this out. But then a generation passes and we forget
our lessons. I've read that the neocon elite, Wolfowitz, et.al, draw their
historical insights from WWII while being blind to what we were supposed to
learn in Viet Nam. The results in Iraq seem to bear this out.

Sadly, they do.

Actually, in connection with the glee over the assassination scene in
that movie, the Republican there has a good point. To win elections,
the Democrats need to convince the American people of the superiority
of their candidates and programs; merely insulting or fantasizing about
the death of Dubya isn't going to help matters, and the display of bad
manners tends to convince anyone who _isn't already a hardcore
Democrat_ that the Democrats are too silly and mean-spirited to trust
with power.
The analogy is with Michael Moore's _Fahrenheit 911_, which to the
extent that it affected politics, probably did so by helping the
Republicans, because it showed that the Democrats were not seriously
facing the issues posed by the original attack.
I'm a Republican, but I believe that the health of our democracy
requires a _competent and loyal_ Opposition -- and the Democrats are
providing neither.

Well said! That's why We Republicans will help to catapult
the otherwise liberal Senator Joe Lieberman to re-election
victory on the Independent ticket. This will further split
the far-left viciously Anti-Christian Anti-American Liberal
"Traitorcrats" from the relatively more moderate, ergo less
insane former-democrats, attracting them to the Independent
party for future election victories and rapid rise to power,
second only to the Republicans, or course, on Capitol Hill.
Even the famous no. one cable news "superstar" Bill O'Reilly
is Independent. This the actual direction America is headed,
where moderate-to-conservative voters will become the swing-
vote between generally conservative Republicans and slightly
less conservative, generally more moderate Independents. We
ALL win with the two-party system in America -- all but the
failed and politically-inviable Liberal Anarchist party which
has for all intents and purposes self-imploded and consigned
themselves and their DNC to perdition's unquenchable flames.
And these Antichrist Liberals who highjacked the "Democratic"
party, particularly since their *bitter* disenfranchisement
from power in the wake of the hopelessly-irreconcilable 2000
Presidential elections, and then getting their hopes up again
for the 2004 election IN VAIN, they're going to be even angrier
and more insanely-desperate once they realize that elections are
*never* won by media "poll" numbers, or "exit-polls" (e.g. 2004),
but *only* by votes: The Liberals just *can't* get enough votes. :)
Oop! I'm running into overtime here. I gotta go fire up the BBQ

What you should do
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Who is Daniel J. Min?
Daniel J. Min is a denizen of Usenet newsgroups. He posts using various variations on his name, including using asterisks or underlines in place of letters. Often he will post as "Nomen Nescio" or Anonymous, and he used to post as GOD>.
The reason for this is to get around peoples "kill files" or "bozo filters"
However, he consistently posts through anonymous "remailers" in order to disguise his true identity
He posts to various newsgroups, including alt.astrology, alt.astronomy, and alt.prophecies.nostradamus. He posts in any inappropriate newsgroup he deems neccessary.
Additionally Danny has been known to directly email people, once again, using his anonymous remailer service.
What does he post?
Danny posts various garbage claims about astrological influences, and birthdata, which he generally makes up as he goes along. Outstanding amongst his posts include claims to know exactly the birthdata of Jesus Christ, Johannes Kepler, Ptolemy, and various other historical characters.
He posts silly prophecies and claims, and even at times posts his own "kill file list" which has become so large that it's unlikely he even *sees* anyone else s posts anymore.
Some Classic examples of Danny's failed prophecies
(Danny's "prophetic" words are italicized)
Danny predicts the "Great Khan of Terror":
On 15 Nov 1999 22:34:03 -0600, GOD wrote in these newsgroups:
The king of terror will come some time around the month of May in 2000.
At this time, the inner planets will all be lined up on one side of the sun with the exception of the Earth which will be directly at the opposite side.
The increased gravitational effects of the sun combined with the added pull from the other planets will have a devastating effect on the earth.
At this time, all major fault lines will rupture. California will experience the big one at this time.
Volcanic activity will increase and it is very likely that the Long Valley Caulderra will explode cataclysmicly. These types of events will be occurring at roughly the same time throughout the entire planet.
To top it off, the suns corona will be nudged away from the earth...towards the grouped inner planets, effectively creating a massive coronal hole (I.E." the "three days of darkness").
When the pull of the alignment comes to pass, the corona will snap back to the earth facing side thereby releasing a CME of massive proportions....aimed directly at planet Earth.
Believe me, there will be terror at this time.

Danny moves "The Great Kahn of Terror" by yet another 7 months:

That makes two of us, or 6 billion of us if I'm not entirely mistaken.
At October much will be made clear
by ways and means of the elements.
I expect half the population gone,
global equalisation of temperature
and pressure, the time, a new race,
His perpetual age the moment where,
or at the place when, smoke clears.
Enjoy the fireworks!

Daniel predicts the US presidential election for 2000

He will announce our *National Emergency* shortly,

&There is no reason to repeal the 22nd amendment,
given that Mr. President William Jefferson Clinton
has been elected twice only, and no more, thus the
amendment does not apply. Neither does a term limit
apply in his case, given that this is indeed a true
state of emergency with bloody violence seen to be
escalating in the State of Florida and elsewhere,
spreading like wildfire as it is in the mid east.

So what should you do about him?
Well, first of all, you can be pretty sure based on his success rate that anything he has to say is wrong.
Someone once said, rather well, that "there is too much Min, and not enough Nostradamus" in what he posts.
Complaining won't do much, because he's they type of individual that doesn't feel the need to explain himself.
Asking him to stop only feeds him.
complaining to his anonymous remailer service results in nothing.
About the best thing to be said, is just be aware of what a buffoon he is.

I hope the Democrats retake Congress just so I can watch your head explode...

Sincerely Yours,
Jordan

What planet are you people living on? Have you seen the polls? You have
one of the least popular Presidents in history, a disapproval rating for
Congress that's through the roof, a majority that threatens to go to 60%
wants the Democrats to retake congress, the number of people in the
US that identify as Republican has plummeted, Bush's little war is judged
a failure by a two to one margin, the budget is out of control but
you people are busy sucking off the religious nut jobs.
You know, this is what it looks like when a majority collapses. It
may not happen this year but if you keep living on Planet O'Reilly, you'll
see the Republicans routed. The only thing the Republicans have managed to
prove is they have no clue how to govern.
This is what you get for letting the neo-cons and theocrats take over.
Goldwater wouldn't even recognize the party anymore.
Yeah, the Democrats are flopping around like fish out of water right now
but parties have done that before. I remember in the wake of the Nixon
resignation, people were literally talking about the end of the
Republican party. A couple of decades later, they're the majority party.
It's flat hysterical that you call the party that governed this country
for over half a century "...too silly and mean-spirited to trust with
power." It's that kind of arrogance and entitlement that's going to the
crash into that brick wall really painful.
Overall, I'm just amused. Especially at the prospect of loony tunes Min
having to deal with the Democrats returning to power. That would be really
funny to watch...
