Patton was a lunatic...but a successful one at that. Believed he was
re-incarnated and fought in wars of history.
Worked for him obviously.

You also have to remember that WWI and WWII were both started with
Democratic presidents. I am not saying they were directly
responsible, but when ever a Democrat was in power there was war. So
Patton though a Republican, loved the Democratic party. That was true
this whole century until George Bush Sr. in the Gulf War. K.W.
