Umm. were the title to be, "Did 'Wacko' graduate FROM High School?" it
might be easier to answer.
If there was any such word as 'homeschooled', then again, perhaps one
might answer.
A home is, well, a home. A school is a building dedictated to
education. The two nouns do not sit well together as a single unit.
Now, if the word, 'home-taught' were to be introduced, then the
question makes sense.
Using the present tense of 'listen' in connection to the past tense of
'I'd say'
(translation..I would have said) is equally difficult to follow.
Using 'if' to start the sentence indicates doubt as to whether the
action was completed. Using 'when' removes that doubt.
I also find it hard to imagine the author 'listening to the way
'Jacko' writes!
I wonder if the poster was, 'homeschooled'...or is this just an
example of 'standard American English?'

Oh...thanks. I can just leave out any word I fancy as being,
'implied'. How easy that will be. You must be very and as well to

I take it my last sentence was fine?
Of course your American dictionary includes the 'word'. Correct
English usage precludes it however.
I'm still waiting for an explanation as to how the poster can hear
'Wacko' writing.
The truth is, American 'English' is no more than pidgin English these
days. You have bastardised the language, removed thousands of
perfectly good words and replaced them with your own versions. You
have reduced the number of vowels considerably and chosen a phonetic
approach to spelling. Most of this has been accomplished within the
last 50 years. I shudder to think what it will be like in another 50
years.
I blame your amazingly low educational standards for this. You are all
beginning to sound like the language of a 'rap' record.
Please leave the planet before tomorrow morning.
Ps Plebe? Do you mean 'plebeian?' If you insist on the shorter word,
please remove the final 'e'. It is much more accurate like that.

Nice cop out there. If you can't figure out the logic behind implied
meaning, then you have no business to criticize any language, as you
obviously don't understand the full practical usage of your mother tongue.
Many Eastern languages like Chinese, Japanese, and Korean are high-context
languages, meaning that there are few words spoken, but deep implied
meaning. I bet you find these languages facinating, however, because they
aren't American English.
Of course your American dictionary includes the 'word'. Correct
English usage precludes it however.
Amazing recourse you have. First, you say the word doesn't exist, but when
it is proven that it does, you chalk it up to "American Bastardization".
Language, including yours, changes and has changed from its origin country,
hypocrite.
I'm still waiting for an explanation as to how the poster can hear
'Wacko' writing.
The truth is, American 'English' is no more than pidgin English these
days. You have bastardised the language, removed thousands of

Uh, that's called "slang" and language mutation. It's been done in every
English speaking country, bigot. You have no problem with the mutations in
Phillipine, Hindu, or Canadian English, but when Americans do it, it is
bastardization. BTW - How many British use the term "chin waggling" as a
substitute for "discussion"? Your PKB (int'l usenet term, not American
English) meter is off the chart, Australian.
You
have reduced the number of vowels considerably and chosen a phonetic
approach to spelling. Most of this has been accomplished within the
last 50 years. I shudder to think what it will be like in another 50
years.
Japanese has reduced the number of their hiragana vowels considerably since
the 40s and simplified their kanji characters over the years (BTW - Japanese
is symbolic and phonetic and Korean's spelling is ALL phonetic). Chinese
has done the same. Is this bastardization? On top of that, there is only
phonetic and symbolic pronunciations. There is no symbolic meaning in the
alphabet so the only way you can spell things in English *is* phonetically.
HELLO! As for abbreviating things, there are English greetings and closings
used to be a longer affair 600 years ago than now among other things, but I
suppose that because the Americans didn't shorten them that it isn't
bastardization. I pity the anal-retentive, close minded simpletons that
think evolution = pidgin.
I blame your amazingly low educational standards for this. You are all
beginning to sound like the language of a 'rap' record.
And just how is your advanced economy doing these days? If your educational
standards are so high, I would have figured (or "reckoned" as you say in
Australia) that you would have figured out a way to stop your money from
being worth as much as pesos.
Please leave the planet before tomorrow morning.
I'll leave the planet as long as you leave your brain for science fiction.
Ps Plebe? Do you mean 'plebeian?'
No, as in "plebe", or Freshman or Rookie.
Your PKB rating for the entire post.

Good morning! :)
The term "Homeschool" comes from the decaying state of the US public
schools and parents who wish to educate the children at home rather than
subject them to the hostile learning environment now present in some of
the classrooms.
In California, many children are "homeschooled" because of gangs.
I have a cousin in North Carolina who's daughter finished her out senior
year of high school in the "homeschool" program because boys were
constantly sexually harassing her and groping her in the hallway when
she would change from one class to another.
http://learninfreedom.org/colleges_4_hmsc.html
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=homeschooled
Remember, that is why we packed our bags and left England in the first
place. So we can talk like a *****/ worship like *****... if we want
to.
And we even have our *own* dictionary that backs us. :)
Some day when I have a minute..... I'll teach you a new American word
called "magnetschool" and how opposite colors repel.

Not true. Many are "home schooled" because of left-wing agenda.
How do I know this? Because of first hand knowledge.
"hostile learning environment " is subject to interpretation here.
Like mention that you like America and the left-wing indoctrinated
teachers have to lower one grade level no matter how well you did on
an exam.

Fine and dandy McDougle, but it doesn't make what I said NOT TRUE.
I have second hand knowledge which was passed down to me from a family

"homeschooled" their kids because of it. Would you like to tell me it's

Hostile as in dangerous.

Michael said in his book that he went to elementary school for a while
but when they became famous they had a tutor who lived and traveled with
them. I don't think he went to high school at all.
Repost:
Jackie and Tito graduated from Fairfax High School.
Michael, Marlon and Jermaine were granted high school equivalency diplomas
by Rose Fine (their tutor), who was empowered to award them. Though
technically graduated, the three younger Jacksons certainly did not obtain a
good grounding in basic subjects, no slight to Rose Fine who probably did
the best she could with them under the circumstances. To this day, each has
problems with penmanship, grammar and (michael in particular) spelling.
In later years however Michael has become an avid reader with a great thirst
for knowledge.

If I listen to the way his dad talks and the way Wacko writes, I'd say
his
father homeschooled him.
"1 adn (sic) 1 be 3."
"I wsa (sic) born in Garie (sic), Indianana (sic)."

Did he, like, need to Graduate frickin' High School ?!?!?
I didn't -- and I have 2 retail businesses and didn't need a mortgage to

Dude...owning a whorehouse and a crackhouse doesn't count as "retail
businesses".

We do have much in common Uncle Wally.
Neither did I. I dropped out in the middle
of my senior year to join the Air Force.
That fell thru after 6 weeks of basic
training finally agreed to give me an
Honorable Discharge under section 3114
as being unadaptable to the military way
of life. When I returned home from the
USAF, I became a drunken skank and my
parents had me commited by court order
to the state mental Hospital. That only
lasted two weeks and I tricked with the
SHRINK IN CHARGE and got a prompt
release.
Then I moved to St. Louis and married a
Drag Queen and worked as a shoe salesman
at Sears. When my drag queen came into
the Sears store one day to buy some ladies
clothes on my credit store employees acct.
Sears fired me for moral misconduct. After
that I abandoned the drag queen and moved to
Chicago with the drag queens ex-lover Maurese.
We opened up a very profitable call service that
catered to both male and female high society
clients. I cashed out of that business after a
few months and went to work for a high rise luxury
Hotel as the night manager.
I got fairly bored with that after a few months and
quit and caught a Greyhound bus out to Hollywood
to become an actor but, never made it as I got
on a wrong transfer bus in Pheonix and ended up
in San Francisco. I got an apt. in the Haight - Ashbury
district of the city -- started dropping acid and roaming about in the fog for
three years from 1967 thru 1969 --- smothered in a rainbow
glazed circle of joy and bliss.
And, then I moved to the country in the mountains with a bunch of other hippies
that were called the 'Merry
Pranksters' and I've live here in lovely Laytonville
ever sense as a retired and disabled pagan party animal.
I have my own home also on a large farm that
has no mortage either and no taxes as we granted
the trust deed of it to 'Our Loving Personal God'.
Our county has a declaration that any personal
God that owns property is exempt from property taxes.
Life has been and should continue to be very good
here in Northern California.
