Some people are already runnin for the mountains.
August 11th to the 22nd Who knows.
ps
i don't think i ever heard of the possibility that the moon could crash
to
earth.
don't you think it'd be a bigger hit compared to a meteor?

FULL MOON SETS AT 210 DEGREES! 30 MORE TO DUE SOUTH!
Posted By: CliffMickelson <Send E-Mail>
Date: Friday, 2 July 2004, 6:55 a.m.
For those watching from latitude 46.40 N, longitude 120.543W, the
full
moon set this morning at 210 degree of compass.
For those not familiar with these sorts of things, that heading is a
mere 30 degrees away from magnetic south!
And...
Just a scant few hours earlier, the June full moon made it's daily
appearance at 128 degrees east, southeast.
During the entire course of it's transit across the southern sky, it
never rose more than 30 degrees from the horizon.
So.....What's going on here?
Now that we have passed the point of full moon, the waning moon will
begin rising in the early evening.
As it does, it will be very interesting to see if each consecutive
waning moonrise moves eastward as it should, or if it moves to the
West as
it has been doing each month since January of this year.
The pattern for the last 6 months of the waning moon has been a
consecutive daily westward movement in the point of rise. This has
continued through the entire first half of the waning phase. Usually
at a
point near the end of the third quarter of wane, the moon's transit
appears to make a radical shift back to the East.
The only rational explanation for this is that the earth is
experiencing
a wobble! A HUGE wobble! A wobble that is so intense and so pronounced
that it is causing not only the moon, but a number of stars and
constellations to appear out of place at certain times.
For those just becoming aquatinted with this issue, I can only offer
this bit of advice. Trust what you see with your own eyes. Make up
your
own mind. In the end, that is what matters. If you give away your
powers
of choice and decision in hopes of "official" confirmation, you are
going
to hear a whole lot of silence!
Or...worse yet, a whole lot of noise.

IS IT THE EARTH OR THE NAVY THAT IS WOBBLING

Cliff,
Just to let you know according to my moon location program the
moon
set in your area around 06:15 PDT this morning at approximately 220
degrees azimuth. However, the U.S. Navel Observatory has the moon
setting
at your lat/long at 0357 this morning and, of course doesn't give an
azimuth. Thought you should know that I saw the moon go down myself
this
morning at about 06:45 CDT at about 235 degrees azimuth, that is from
lat
28.34 degrees north and Long 91.53 degrees west. According to my moon
location program this is about the right time and place. I checked
your
lat and long and times against that program and they too seemed to be
the
right time and place. According to USNO moonset at my location was
supposed to have happened at 06:07 and, of course no positional
reading
from the Navy...Something is really strange and the wobble theory is
about
as good as any. Either that or the U.S. Naval Observatory is wobbling,
which is also a real possibility. But what it means is that we have a
pronounced wobble that is happening regularly and at pretty close
intervals astronomically speaking.
Something is not right, my moon location program shows that the
moon
should have set in your area at around 08:05 PDT and it should not
have
gone higher than 15 degrees altitude. It seems like everything we use,
or
everywhere we go for information is in conflict in some way with
everything else. What is going on...

I put these posts up simply on reports of a "wobbling earth" or
misplaced moon. I don't know whether this is scientifically plausible or
not, but some folks are allegedly noticing something they believe is
highly unusual.
There have been periodic "flaps" about these alleged
geophysical/astrophysical phenomena before on the Net and I would think
that some observatory somewhere would be noticing this seemingly
remarkable event and publicizing it.
It appears that, so far, only some laymen are reporting this phenomenon.
Perhaps they'll simply wrong or lying, or hallucinating on mushrooms.
And, there's the usual hint that "officials" would cover it all up. That
would be pretty hard to do for such an "earth shaking" event.
There must be hundreds of observatories around the world...I'd think that
at least the Russians would be blabbing about it (hee, hee).
All I hear is silence out there in the scientific world. I've not noticed
anything unusual, but I'm not out there at night frequently checking out
things like this.
