Love of money is the root of all evil, thus I'll digress to preaching,
believing as a Christian, albeit I'm no cookie-cutter "fundamentalist"
Christian. But based on what very little I know about the biblical and
extra-biblical end-times prophecies, it is indeed their love of mammon,
ultimately their Trust in "In God We Trust", which is utterly betrayed
in one hour without warning, and thereby crucified to death in one day.
I.e., in one day every bank, every marketplace, every debit and credit
large and small, every national debt, every slate, ledger, skor, every
form of currency and monetary exchange, stocks, bonds, securities, etc.,
"the whole shootin' match" is wiped cleaner than an aborted baby's *****!
How one might ask? Because a million billion zeros is still worth zero.
Even googols of googols to the googoleth power of zeros is worth: zero.
And with oil, gas, electricity, etc. scarce or completely cut off, the
usefulness of non-monetary assets will be confined to the 17th century.
And even that won't do them much good without a good supply of potable
water, food and immunity to the pestilence. Woe, it won't be cinematic.
Thus in one day she is fallen, and the whole world will tremble at the
realization that the U.S. Military is summarily kicking into overdrive,
inflicting tremendous retaliation deemed by their chiefs, jointly, as
"long overdue", "well it's about God-damned time!" I hear them saying,
though they know the initial attack was undoubtedly Made In The U.S.A.
Consequently, the kings of the earth which had previously relied on
agreements with her, agreements enforced by her invincible military,
all of those agreements will have died with her, thus they will have
no choice but to enter the battle of Armageddon, games of Slaughter.
This is when the worst pestilence in history will sweep continents,
and the end of the world will become manifest, worse than the great
flood of Noah's day, not so many survivors. But there will be those
who survive lest the human race become universally extinct from the
face of the earth. And this all comes down in the very near future,
particularly approaching December 21, 2012, barely five years away
at this writing. The scoffers will scoff even as they did in Noah's
busy days leading up to the universal flood. Yet, the end will come.
But instead of building an ark and "keeping two of every sort alive",
Christians are building our personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
In conclusion, the foreordained end of the world is very good news to
believing Christians around the world, because that's when Jesus will
return with the Dark clouds, just exactly like the bible says He will:
immediately after the great tribulation (Matthew 24:29 ibid), although
you really need to read the entire bible cover-to-cover, to comprehend
this in the greater context of prophecy, i.e. from the Creation of the
world to the second coming of Christ, and what to expect into the ages.
It's easy to believe that the cause of Armageddon etc. is the evils of
this world, as was the case in the days of Noah, but that's not really
the case where today's incomparably-evil generation is concerned, but
is more specifically because Christ was crucified. That is the cause
of the end of the world, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Thus we have
Jesus Christ & His heavenly Father (YHWH) to thank for causing the end
of the world, in order to clear the way for our LORD's return & reign
over the earth universally. Earth is being purged, Purgatory on Earth.
This whole planet is the sole property of Jesus Christ & his Ecclesia,
under God the Creator. Every one who loves God will love Planet Earth.
Christians welcome Armageddon because Christ is returning, not so much
because it will destroy this hopelessly evil mammon-worshipping empire.
We already know that every soul shall get their just reward in the end.
The fact that we're living in the end-times is a tremendous privilege,
a great honor, though the molten calf-worshippers are sure to call it
the greatest curse ever to befall them. It depends on one's viewpoint.
