Yes. And I agree their "Beta Version of Groups Sucks"
BIG TIME! It's nothing short of wholesale censorship
of the newsgroup archives. I don't believe that the
programmers at Google are stupid. Their new beta is
obviously designed to make the archives inaccessible.
We'll see if they implement the beta internationally.
I personally believe that they will, because that was
their plan all along. Soon enough it'll make headlines.
Now, the following search includes at least one of
the words "truncates", "truncating", "cuts off"; and
includes all the words "google", "groups", & "beta",
and includes "google" in the subject header, to wit:

Which, unless I'm mistaken, returns basically the same
results as any other uncensored non-US Google domain in
the free world, yes? If not, I'd be interested to learn
which countries with a Google search domain are censoring
archived content, typically uncensored in the UK, IN, etc.
At least we KNOW that Google's US domain is now censoring
content en masse and across-the-board. Indeed Google SUCKS!
