Interesting! For example, I can still access my Google-archived
homepage on the United Kingdom domain from my home in Colorado USA:
http://www.google.co.uk./groups?selm=XJBDEJF138262.9022453704@anonymous.poster
But of course, Google has broken its "old-style" embedded links,
so I must now manually copy the message IDs only and suffix the
links manually after "http://www.google.co.uk./groups?selm=" in
order to bypass the forcibly-redirected Google "beta" US domain
by pasting the UK prefix + message ID suffix in the address bar.
If you're in the UK, try replacing the "uk" with "in" or other
international Google domain and it might still work for you. No?
I wonder how long it will take for Google to prevent our ability
to sidestep their "beta" by using foreign Google domain prefixes?
NOT long I imagine...
As I gather from your report that you, from the UK, are no longer
able to bypass the so-called "beta", but are now being forced into
Google's international newsgroup archive-censorship program exactly
like we are in the USA. Is this correct? If so, then it's ALL OVER
for Google! Thus begs the question, what will happen to the older
Deja News and newer Google archives? And wasn't there some kind of
binding CONTRACT involved when Google took custody of and steward-
ship over these ever-burgeoning international newsgroup archives?
Indeed, Google has planned this all along. Anyone who doesn't
see that this "beta" implementation was fostered by America's
bitterly-defeated liberal Democrats and their rabidly-criminal
Anti-American friends abroad (Iran, Syria, France, Canada et al)
are only kidding themselves. Now, I wonder if the *US President*
George W. Bush and our Grand Old Party will take notice? Better
yet, *HOW* will the international community react to Google and
the liberal Democrats who are behind it? These are interesting
times we live in...
