I should probably clarify what I said above.
I share your disgust with the school system to the point that such drastic
symbolism seems fitting, but it would also be inappropriate to resurrect the
swastika. People do it all the time, but it seems inappropriate.
The school system has a lot of problems. If a child is going to be beaten or
abused, it is far more likely that the abuse will occur at school or as a
result of contact with fellow students. Teachers and their unions are
spearheading efforts to curb abuse in the Catholci school system and
parental abuse, but they refuse to acknowledge the danger of public schools.
They have weighed their own careers against the safety of students, and
having bodies in classrooms to maximize funding is clearly the single most
important thing to teachers and administrators.
I think that the school system has become more of a liability than an asset
to society, but education and learning must continue somehow. I would NOT
support an end to learning, but I WOULD support an end to the "Lord of the
Flies" subculture of youth which has given birth to such abortions of
humanity as Columbine I, II, III.......Columbine_n, etc .

I strongly agree with the sentiments of Brian Rohrbough, who'd
appeared on the Monday, October 2, 2006 edition of CBS Evening
News w/Katie Couric, in their 'Free Speech' segment (Rohrbough
appeared on FOXNEWS 'The O'Reilly Factor' later that same week):
[begin quote http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/10/02/freespeech/main2057062.shtml]
"I'm saddened and shaken by the shooting at an Amish
school today, and last week's school murders.
When my son Dan was murdered on the sidewalk at
Columbine High School on April 20, 1999, I hoped that
would be the last school shooting. Since that day,
I've tried to answer the question, "Why did this
happen?"
This country is in a moral free-fall. For over two
generations, the public school system has taught in
a moral vacuum, expelling God from the school and
from the government, replacing him with evolution,
where the strong kill the weak, without moral
consequences and life has no inherent value.
We teach there are no absolutes, no right or wrong.
And I assure you the murder of innocent children is
always wrong, including by abortion. Abortion has
diminished the value of children.
Suicide has become an acceptable action and has
further emboldened these criminals. And we are
seeing an epidemic increase in murder-suicide
attacks on our children.
Sadly, our schools are not safe. In fact, we now
witness that within our schools. Our children have
become a target of terrorists from within the United
States." [end quote]
I believe that very similar laments against the worldly of
the world were commonplace in the days of Noah, i.e. until
the worldwide flood settled many an old account in arrears.
