We need to deal with what exists NOW. Spouting off about how someones
great-great-great-great grandfather screwed over someone elses

living of today. I'm not responsible for the actions of my ancesters,
and neither
are you. We must live with the cards that we have been dealt.
They deserve your respect and they deserve full legal rights to
integrate into your land, your culture, your government. They are of
your same Christian religion.
They do have a legal avenue to immigrate to the US, but the large
majority of them
choose to come in illegally. Most of them don't want to integrate, they
want to
be a separate entity within the borders of the USA. All I have to do is
look at
my own neighborhood to see it.

within the borders. Paranoia, xenophobia, call it for what it is, and base
it on your prejudice against another race, or group. You make my stomach

I didn't see one "protester" waving an American flag, they were waving
Mexican
flags. 99% of their protest signs were in spanish, not english.

like a desire to integrate into American culture does it.
No, what you see are millions of Hispanics unable to get full citizenship
and be fully integrated into American society. They carry the flags of
their homelands where they were full citizens. When they get full
citizenship in America, they will also carry the US flag proudly. You ask
them to carry the flag of legal citizenship, yet want to deport,
criminalize them. You talk in circles like most racists do. I pity you.

Shame on you -- all of you Americans who want to make them felons,
criminals, and punish them harshly -- or forcibly deport them.
There is a legal way to enter this country. If they don't have the
fortitude to
go through the process, they probably don't have what it takes to make
it under
their own steam once they get here. If you come in illegally, you
absolutely
should be deported. The USA isn't the only country on earth with
policies like
this (although we don't enforce ours).
The "fortitude" ?? As a natural-born citizen, granted those rights by
birth, you and your racist friends, the neocons, the right-wing Christian
fanatics, have not struggled in a foreign land to establish yourself.
You've had it handed to you by birthright. I can say this to you, dreamer,
that deportation is highly unlikely to occur -- 12 million deported to
satisfy your racist fantasies? No, it will hot happen. But, criminalizing
the Hispanic illegals might. If that horrible thing occurs, the streets
will run with blood. It is impossible for a racist to understand, so it is
likely you'll not be illuminated to the fact that humans are humans, and
that national boundary laws are used to rationalize, to hide, racism.
Humans will continue to violate those laws globally to seek what they feel
they must have to be fulfilled in their lives.

There is nothing racist or hate-mongering about wanting people to follow
the law.
Rationalization, again, to hide your racism. Is it not comforting to be
able to hate another group of humans and have it candy-coated with
rationalizations about "the law" ? Oh yes, you are racist, and you, like
so many of your kind, know it is socially inappropriate, and so, nowadays,
you come forth with the "law" as a convenience in your arguments. Yet, the
"law" -- the Constitution -- stated clearly that all men are created equal
and deserve to share equally in the rights that creed guarantees and what
occurred for many decades? Native Americans, Afro-Americans, Asians, Jews,
Arabs, Hispanics...even the Irish! (not an ethnic group, of course)...were
deliberately racist-targeted, segregated, mistreated in many ways,
deprived of those rights -- and we're talking about the legal immigants
now, Mr. Hawk. They were fully legal Americans, but they suffered long and
hard at the hands of mostly white people, and sometimes from other ethnic
groups, too.
I, Chief Rolling Rock, curse you for this, but may the Great Spirit try
to rectify this great injustice you have engaged in.
I can see you are full of love and compassion with your desire to curse

Hypocrisy? As a racist too cowardly to call himself one, you would be well
advised to save your glass-house judgements for yourself -- and later, The
Great Spirit. He will decide ultimately on what goes on inside you, and
your actions toward others.
I am full of love and understanding for those who have the same qualities.
For those who don't, I let them know their soul sickness is dangerous and
destructive to humanity. If I am wrong, then let time pass and I'll be
proved wrong. Or, the Great 'Spirit will let me know, in this life or the
