The History of Aghanistan is littered with the bones of
"Conquerors"....Afghanistan had always been easily invaded...but it
had never been conquered. Alexander the Great could not Conquer
Afghanistan, neither could the Persians, nor the British, nor the
Russians, and Certainly not the Yanks.
Lots of foreigners trying to advance Afghan society over the centuries end
up with bleaching bones at high eleveations. It'll be interesting to see
how long another corrupt CIA asset stays in power there.
