BRADFORD COUNTY, FL - The parents of Taquandra Diggs say she was injured
when a piece of candy she was holding in her hand exploded and burned
her. Diggs was apparently burned from her face down to her arm by the
exploding jawbreaker. Plastic surgeons at St. Vincent's in Jacksonville
are now helping Taquandra recover from her injury. Meanwhile, the FDA is
investigating the incident and has all the pieces of the candy in their
possession. They say they will analyze the candy to see what caused the
candy to explode.
